𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤!

𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 was created last June 2019 to help raise funds for my cancer treatments. We launched two collections, Courage Series and Rooted & Pruned. I was still in Cagayan de Oro (CdeO) and was very involved when Courage Series first came out, but on July 2019, my cancer journey took a dramatic turn and I had to be airlifted to Manila. Since then, I have not come home. Still, we were able to produce Rooted & Pruned last September 2020. For making the second collection possible, I thank

• Gen of 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 and Wedda of 𝙬𝙚𝙙𝙙𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙩 for designing Rooted & Pruned;
• MUGLR for printing our tags and stickers;
• Gail of Hey, it's Gail for our catalogue shoot;
• 𝘼𝙩𝙚 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡 for our local delivery service;
• Kagay-an Coffee Cartel and Cherrysh CGY for partnering with us;

• My brother Nikko, Aunty Angelie, Uncle Raymond, and Uncle Vincent for helping me produce the mugs in CdeO; and
• My sister Caroline for helping me with the rest.

I also thank all of you, especially my family and friends, who have bought these mugs and kept me in your prayers. I hope you continue to support me, other cancer warriors, and other local businesses. I plan to revamp and relaunch 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 when I get to go home to CdeO soon.

While we are on a break, please continue donating to the medical fundraisers of my friends at Faith Stories by Lenie Rose. Gwen, Ate Vanessa, Earl, Baby NZ, and Bea are all on active treatment, while Nanay Mila is due for a PET CT.

Finally, I thank and praise Christ Jesus, the C that is bigger and mightier than cancer and covid.

As we wrap up the awareness week for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYAs) with cancer, I would like to say to my AYA friends who are fighting cancer, I support you; to those who are survivors, I admire you; and to those who were taken, I honor you.

While our peers are achieving education, career, and relationship milestones, we are celebrating treatment milestones.

Hooray for a successful surgery!
Hooray for finishing chemotherapy!
Hooray for completing radiotherapy!

We jump over big victories. Hooray for clear scans! And we get very giddy over small victories.

Yes, I am able to walk unassisted!
Yes, I am able to take a shower!
Yes, I did not vomit!

I am grateful to the AYA with cancer friends I met who I am able to share not only similar hopes with but also similar fears and disappointments. It is oddly comforting to have friends who understand exactly what misery you are going through and still laugh with you.

Few days ago, I posted that although I have AYA with cancer friends, I was not able to find a local support group for AYAs with cancer. Then last night, Alexa, a lymphomie or fellow lymphoma patient, reached out and launched Kanser sa Adolescents and Young Adults (KAYA), a community for Filipino AYA cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.

Wow, God is listening!

May this community be instrumental in helping Filipino AYAs with cancer (aged 15-39 years old) navigate diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. 🌹

𝟐𝟐 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 | 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌

I remember the first time we celebrated Christmas with the children of Northern Mindanao Medical Center's Oncology Unit last 2018. I remember their courageous little faces.

Fellow cancer warriors inspire me and give me perspective.

The following year, I was unable to go home but we were able to share little gifts. And this year, we continued the same simple act of love.

I thank my sister Caroline Veronilla for packing and delivering the hygiene kits. I thank Ms Marybel, Ms Anna, and the staff for always being accommodating.

I also thank all of you who have been supporting us. May you continue to support me and others with sickness, especially Gwen, Nanay Mila, and Vanessa of Faith Stories by Lenie Rose.

This year has been tough on everyone's health and finances. But let us remain hopeful for the incoming year. Have faith that healing and miracles await us in 2021.
