i cooked it in a rice cooker in less than 15 mins and paired it with roasted potatoes, buttered shrimp in tomatoes, and walnut parmesan pesto salad. yum 😋 i had some leftover the next day, and because it’s dry when cooked, it did not spoil easy!
I also tried using it in champorado, and it turned out grittier than regular glutenous rice, as expected. however, its abundant health benefits far outweigh its texture, and is surely a great alternative for those opting for a healthier diet. 👩⚕️
another thing that stood out to me is their love towards Filipino products and the livelihood of our rice farmers. partners with Lively Grains in providing organic rice grains—specifically red & black rice which are harvested organically (with no pesticides) from South Cotabato in Mindanao. 🌾
it is a company that not just promotes healthy living but also advocates the championing of our local farmers’ products, enriching their lives as a result and contributes to the recovery of our economy. 🇵🇭
