May bagong update po ang PhilHealth (Circular No. 2026-0006) regarding maternity coverage.

👉 LOW-RISK PREGNANCY na lamang po ang covered sa mga lying-in / maternity clinics.

❌ Hindi na po sakop ang HIGH-RISK pregnancies, tulad ng:
• First pregnancy (1st baby)
• 5th pregnancy and above
• Age 35 years old and above (kahit pang-ilang pagbubuntis)

✅ Maaaring mag-avail sa lying-in kung:
• 2nd, 3rd, o 4th pregnancy
• Edad 20–34 years old
• May active at updated PhilHealth contributions 4ps o Indigent

📌 Sila na lamang po ang eligible sa PhilHealth Maternity at Newborn Care Package sa lying-in clinics.

⚠️ Para sa kaligtasan ng ina at sanggol, ang mga high-risk pregnancies ay kinakailangang manganak sa ospital.
