This is one of the biggest challenges we encounter as a Registered Nutritionist Dietitian. We always fight for our rights in terms of educating people about nutrition when the law already tells us who's supposed to do it.
Parang palagi na lang need i-prove na rights namin yan. We are the only ones who could teach about nutrition and food kasi kami ang nag pagod niyang pag-aralan. 4years is not a joke plus continuous learnings and trend updates pa yan.
Anyone can talk about nutrition at mag self-claimed as "Nutrition Coach" (pero dapat walang ganun kung susunod tayo sa batas kasi nga bawal talaga)... pero kung di maiwasan kasi nga ang laging dialog is we are just sharing experience... pero sana naman kung di ka nman tlga RND (licensyado) to talk about it, mahirap bang sabihin na mag disclaimer ka na "still consult a Dietitian" lalo na if need ng medical advice related to food, or supplements na need ng guidance. haist.
And the sadest part about it is kapwa health professional mo (not all though) din naman ang kailangan mong pangaralan. Other Allied Health Professionals demand respect for their profession, but when we seek the same kind of respect, we always receive mockery and i-gagaslight kami na parang kami pa may kasalanan na "kulang kasi kayo sa credentials" eme? so yung license namin is puchu puchu lang to?
Also to those pharmaceutical companies who uses these "Nutrition Coach Program" agenda as marketing strategies, please stop.
TO ALL MY DEAREST FOLLOWERS. A GENTLE REMINDER.
