✨ TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND is a type of pelvic ultrasound used to identify abnormalities within female reproductive organs — va**na, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries.

Why is it done on female?
➭ Infertility
➭ Pelvic pain
➭ Unexplained va**nal bleeding
➭ Abnormal abdominal or pelvic imaging exam
➭ Ectopic pregnancy
➭ Suspicion of uterine fibroids or cysts

💡From 21 years old -29 years old,
🕰️ Pap Smear kada (3) tatlong taon.

💡 30 years old & older naman ay kinakailangan magpatingin para sa (HPV) o human papillomavirus isang uri ng virus na sanhi ng cervical cancer.

❓Ang Pap Smear
- isang uri ng pagsusuri na ginagawa para malaman ang kalagayan ng cervix, ginagawa ito para makita ang pagkakaroon ng mga precancerous or cancerous cells sa cervix.
- Ang cervix ay ang makipot na daanan patungong matris o uterus. Sa pamamaraan na ito, kumukuha ang mga medical expert ng cells mula sa cervix at tinitignan ang mga cells mula dito.
