This NCAP is not about solving traffic or road issues in Metro Manila. It’s a new way for the government to extract more money from us — the people. Let’s be honest: most government officials don’t truly care about us. They care about their businesses, their wealth, and their image among the elite.
They don’t need us — except during elections. They need us to vote. They need us to keep paying taxes and government contributions — funds that too often end up in the pockets of the corrupt. For ordinary, hardworking Filipinos, this nation feels like a failure. But for those in power, it's a success — because they keep profiting from our obedience and silence.
And the saddest part? Many of us are content with the little they hand out during elections — a few hundred pesos in exchange for our voice, our vote, our future. They’re not giving us help — they’re buying our silence, our suffering.
It’s time to wake up. The government will not save us — but we still have power. We must fight back. It’s our turn to create real solutions that prioritize ordinary citizens. Let’s stand together, demand accountability, and work for a future that serves all — not just the powerful few.
