Typhoon Nando Community Update
Road clearing operations were immediately conducted in Zone 1, while prompt response was carried out in Zone 3 to address the power outage caused by the strong winds of Typhoon Nando.

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Hansel Gamad and with the dedication of BDRRM Chairperson Jessie Taoagen, the issues brought about by the typhoon were acted upon without delay, ensuring the safety and welfare of our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all residents for their patience, cooperation, and continuous support during this time. Together, we remain strong and resilient. 💙

Barangay Officials of Langlangca 2nd extends its heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Eric D. Singson for his swift and compassionate response to the needs of our constituents who were affected by the recent typhoon. Through his leadership, food packs were immediately delivered to families who experienced flooding.

This was made possible with the support of our dedicated Punong Barangay, Hon. Hansel R. Gamad, together with the hardworking members of the Sangguniang Barangay: Raymundo Gonzalo Jr., for generously providing his vehicle and tirelessly driving to ensure delivery of aid; Rolando Saludar, Marlon Mataro, Jessie Taoagen, and Rica Dato, for their valuable assistance in the retrieval and distribution of food packs; and our diligent and reliable Barangay Secretary, Melanie Galimba Dejarisco.

We likewise thank the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), and all agencies of the City Government of Candon for their unwavering support.

Together, let us continue working hand in hand for the welfare and progress of our beloved City of Candon.

If anyone happened to find the cellphone of Maam Jawher Rendon (Vivo Y73), which got lost yesterday after the game at our covered court in Langlangca 2nd, kindly bring it to the Barangay Hall. The phone contains important files and personal matters of Maam Jawher. We are hoping for the honesty and kindness of whoever found it to please return it. Thank you very much!

Due to Super Typhoon Nolan, our barangay is currently experiencing strong winds and heavy rainfall. Minor flooding has been observed in some low-lying areas.
