Yesterday’s Rooftop Garden activity was a hit. The kids created their own mini garden boxes and learned all about planting and caring for vegetables. We enjoyed their many creative and meaningful outputs that we proudly celebrate.

Appreciation Post for Sam and Her Family

We are truly inspired by Sam and her committed family, who travel all the way from San Carlos three times a week for her behavioral intervention sessions.

The first two weeks brought expected challenges—adjusting routines, managing frustration, and navigating change. Supporting children with autism means handling each step with care, patience, and a personalized approach.

Through careful observation and a well-crafted, data-informed plan, our team was able to understand Sam better and meet her where she’s at. Now, at her third week, she’s showing meaningful progress—gaining independence and gradually building self-regulation skills, one of our key goals.

We celebrate Sam’s growth and the unwavering support of her family. What a beautiful start to this journey.

🌟 A Big Milestone for Star! 🌟

From one-on-one sessions to thriving in a general education classroom—Star is now taking her examinations in a big school setting! This is her very first year in a general education environment, and we couldn’t be prouder of her growth and progress. 💛

We are honored to walk alongside Star in her learning journey, and we are incredibly grateful to Passionate Quest Institute of Learning Inc. for welcoming us and supporting our mission to help every child feel confident, capable, and successful.

Speech and Communication Evaluation in Canlaon City
August 28–30, 2025

We are pleased to announce that a Speech and Communication Evaluation will be conducted in Canlaon City from August 28 to 30.

This evaluation is ideal for children ages 2 to 12 who may be showing signs of delayed speech, language difficulties, unclear articulation, or challenges in expressing themselves.

This initiative aims to bridge gaps in communication and help young children in Canlaon find their voices.

Welcome, Sam – A Shining New Star from San Carlos

We’re so happy to welcome Sam to our Functional Futures family.

Her journey began with quiet uncertainty—everything was new. A new place, new faces, and routines she hadn’t known before. She was hesitant, unsure, but still… she showed up and tried.

By her second session, something beautiful happened. Sam began to recognize the rhythm of her day. She knew what came next and felt safe in that knowing. The tears faded, and in their place came smiles, calm, and little moments of joy.

Now, Sam is learning to navigate self-regulation and compliance—one gentle step at a time. And with every session, she reminds us how powerful growth can be when it’s met with patience, kindness, and support.

We’re so proud of her, and even more grateful to be part of her journey.
