Mambusao Rural Health Unit in collaboration with CAPSu Burias Campus
Today, December 1, we proudly join the global community in commemorating World AIDS Day with a shared commitment to awareness, compassion, and action. The Mambusao Rural Health Unit, in partnership with CAPSu Burias Campus, stands united in empowering our students and community through knowledge and care.
The highlight of this celebration is a lecture on HIV awareness delivered by Dr. Rowena Gavero, Municipal Health Officer, reminding us that education is the strongest tool in breaking stigma and protecting lives. We are further inspired by the words of Dr. Rodyard Madiclum, CAPSu Burias Administrator, whose message of hope and leadership strengthens our resolve.
We are honored by the presence of Hon. Catherine Launio, SB on Health, and Hon. Mary Ann Labao, Committee on Education, and to our beloved Mayor, Leodegario Labao Jr. , whose support underscores the importance of health and education working hand in hand.
This day also features slogan presentations, a pledge of commitment, and free testing and medical check-ups, ensuring that awareness is matched with action and care.
Together, we affirm: Knowledge is power, compassion is strength, and unity is the path to a healthier future.
