HIV-AIDS Awareness and ADVOCACY to the members of LGBTQI+ of San Jose, Northern Samar.

As part of there activity before the Miss Gay they conducted HIV Awareness to the members of LGBTQI+ by inviting one HIV Advocate of Provincial Health Office-Northern Samar Mr. Emmanuel Avalon Tijares RM HIV Advocate and Case Manager

It was a fruitful and well informative discussions between the members of LGBTQI+ of San Jose as they want to know about the disease, the history, the prevention, the number of cases and Anti-Discriminatory and Stigma ways to help each other and convincing the members to get tested.

Provincial Health Office-Northern Samar and Northern Samar HIV-AIDS Advocacy conduct and joins the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2025, a simultaneous activity throughout the country to commemorate and remember our fellow Nortehanons who died due AIDS and the people who are still fighting for the rights of People Living with HIV PLHIV.

Joined by PHO, NSPH, ADH, GBTAN, DILG, PGAD and PIO they commemorate and support the activity.

Lets offer them a prayer and join us in spreading the right information about HIV and AIDS to stop the Stigma and Discrimination circulating around this disease.

The Community Environment and Natural Resources Northern Samar celebrates the Womens Month 2025 by conducting HIV and Cervical and Breast Cancer Lectures to its employees.

They invited Provincial Health Office-Northern Samar Mr. Emmanuel Avalon Tijares RM HIV Case Manager as their guest speaker and lecturer. Its activity aims to increase their knowledge about common STIs HIV and Cancers that affects women.

Galutan National High School invites us in their HIV/AIDS Awareness Lecture among Senior High School Student through Intensified Education Campaign earlier

We discussed about STI/HIV and AIDS, History, Epidemiology and Anti Stigma and Discrimination, also the services we offer in Northern Samar Provincial Hospital HIV Treatment Hub.

This activity aims to increase the knowledge of the young population about some health concerns among young population.

We also tackles some issues related to our teenage groups like the increasing number of Teenage Pregnancy, Tattoo among students and Premarital S*x.

Nochete, Department Head of NSPH OB-GYN Department, successfully held the 21ST NATIONAL BUNTIS DAY 2025 today, March 10, 2025 (Monday), at the New Admin Building of NSPH.

It aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of prenatal care check-ups, nutrition, and immunizations. They also discuss S*xually Transmitted Infections (STIs) that can harm both the mother and newborns led by Mr. Emmanuel Avalon Tijares RM HIV Case Manager of NSPH-HIV Treatment Hub.

The STI/HIV-AIDS PREVENTION AND CONTROL of Provincial Health Office-Northern Samar is giving free condoms to NSPH Employees and early Adulthood age group as a Pre-Valentines Day gift.

This special activity aims to increase awareness about the prevention of transmission of "S*xual Transmitted Infections" like HIV and Gonorrhea that can be passed down through unprotected condom less s*x, it is also preventing unwanted pregnancies and lessens the increasing cases of teenage pregnancy in our province.

With the help of STI Program Coordinator Ms. Jeane Pelayo and HIV Case Manager Mr. Emmanuel Avalon Tijares RM members of HACT of Northern Samar.
