Mataas lang ba ang blood pressure mo kapag kinukunan ka ng BP sa clinic/hospital?

Baka WHITE COAT HYPERTENSION yan!

Ito ang pagtaas ng blood pressure kapag kinukuhanan ka ng BP sa isang healthcare facility katulad ng clinic at hospital pero normal naman ang blood pressure mo kapag nasa ibang lugar ka katulad ng sa bahay. Tinatawag itong WHITE COAT HYPERTENSION dahil kalimitan ay naka white coat ang mga doctor o ang mga nurses na kumukuha ng iyong BP.

Pwedeng wala ka pang hypertension, pero ang white coat hypertension ay maaaring risk factor sa pagkakaroon ng ibang sakit katulad ng hypertension at iba pang cardiovascular problems.

Mag-ingat sa pagkain ng matataba at macholesterol na pagkain ngayong Holiday Season! Ang pagkain ng mga ito ay pwedeng mauwi sa pagtaas ng cholesterol sa katawan na pwedeng bumara sa mga ugat na maging sanhi ng heart attack o stroke!

Kalimitan ay walang sintomas ang mataas na cholesterol hanggang magkaroon na ito ng komplikasyon.
