We grieve with the families who lost loved ones in the September 30 earthquake in Cebu, Cebu Province and nearby areas.

Our thoughts are with those who are injured and recovering. We are working with hospitals and clinics to help make sure care continues.

We were honored to speak at the FILIPINNOVATION Awards 2025 – Visayas Sub-National Press Briefing, hosted at the Philippine Information Agency–Region 7 office in Cebu City. 🚀

DepDev Region 7 Assistant Regional Director Evelyn Nacario-Castro introduced the 11 Visayan semi-finalists competing for spots in the sub-nationals. Three were invited to speak on behalf of the cohort, each representing one of the competition’s focus areas—Food & Agribusiness, Health & Well-Being, and Learning & Education:
