Once a jargon, now a commonplace word.

The evolution of psychology terms from being sheltered to now appearing in almost every casual conversation shows how the push for mental health awareness is slowly demystifying these concepts. Yet, with accessibility comes a nuanced problem: crucial terminologies have been diluted to fit everyday contexts, where their overuse now leads to oversimplification.

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

On Christmas Day, a fire affected the home and livelihood of Selwyn Miles Mercaida, one of our community members from Masbate, leaving them with very little as they begin to recover and start again. The loss was sudden, and rebuilding will take time and support.

UPPSS is opening this space for those who wish to help. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward immediate needs and recovery.
