Significance

To be able to have TORCH with me in Bohol for 10 straight years in 2007-2016 continuing all the medical missions in the town of Maribojoc serving at least 250 patients per year has made TORCH a significant part of the hometown and will always be remembered for all the civic works that we have done.

To essentially be a physician with a heart and bringing ourselves to be an important part of the lives of these people has already made all of us what this organization has been at the very start of TORCH doing civic and social works in the parts of Cebu as medical students and then Bohol during our lives as residents and consultants. We didn’t stop because until present we have continued on our civic actions a part of our lives.

We hope to continue on being a significant part of the lives of not just our patients in our daily clinic and hospital rounds but also into the lives of the people around us and continue to always touch the lives of people everyday - always a TORCH member.

Today`s sending out of relief goods to Maribojoc involved a call to Brgy Pangihan, Cabawan, Maribojoc for postpartum bleeding. Brought some IVs and NSS, Ferrous and tranexamic to the site and brought the ambulance as well. Thanks God, Emelita was okay, uterus was contracted with minimal spotting and just needed reassurance though. She was already brought to the hospital twice for bleeding during the earthquakes.

Are you proud of your presidentiable? Last March 24 in front of my clinic in Talibon the municipal released 25M as earthquake fund but asked for voters ID. Ayaw na pailad mga tao, hagbay ra ang earthquake ngano karon pa na gipanghatag ang money for electioneering? Unya inig hatag moingon Daang matuwid ta ha? If you remember, private institutions including our group were the first ones to help people in securing food to reach them for those affected by the earthquake. Naa man diay ng kwartaha ngano wa man na gipanghatag dayon sa mga tao. The government came with help after a week pa kay ga repack ug donations. It came to people nga nagkatawa na kay puno na ilang table ug hinabang sa mga private institutions. Red Cross came without nothing only Dick Gordon and a bunch of cameraman kay magpa picture sa mga tao sa Maribojoc and I saw that with my eyes. Iyang gisakyan pa jud pumpboat ug private institution wa man gani mananghid nga mosakay cya. That is why, adto pa lang nga time, the government has failed me. Unya pasikat mo anang inyong 25M kagamay ra ana asa man ang uban? Mga tao pagmata mo. Maayo lang gyud ang mga Bolanon kay bisan private individuals gatinabanganay adtong pnahona. Kaila na ta nga hinay atong gobyerno. Ayaw na mo pailad. More than 25 M dapat na inyo madawat ambot basin gipangkampanya na ang uban. Unya proud mo anang daang matuwid? I posted this in my page during our help pag earthquake coz here are the list of the private individuals who provided food on the table a day after the earthquake happened. There is no govrnment involved in this page, all concerned and private individuals who all love fellow Boholanos.
