"How should I taper?
Tapering is about reducing your training volume by 30 to 60 percent, depending on your fitness level and race distance.
For a 70.3 race, we typically cut volume by 50 to 60 percent while maintaining race pace intensity across swim, bike, and run sessions. The key is to reduce volume, not intensity."
