👉 Kinsa ang angay magpa-screen?
✔️ Mga babaye edad 25–65 anyos
✔️ Bisan walay gibati nga sintomas

👉 Unsa ang buhaton?
✔️ Magpa-Pap smear o VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) o HPV DNA Test
✔️ Magpabakuna batok sa HPV kung available
✔️ Likayi ang risgo pinaagi sa safe practices

💡 Hinungdanon nga pahinumdom:
Ang cervical cancer kasagaran walay sintomas sa sayo nga yugto. Kinahanglan ang cervical cancer screening matag 3-5 years.

Karong February, atong gisaulog ang National Oral Health Month. Mahinungdanon nga mahatagan og saktong pagtagad ang atoang baba ug ngipon aron magpabilin kining himsog.

Hinumdumi usab ni nga mga health tips sa pag-amping sa atong oral health:
✅ Pagpakonsulta sa dentista matag 6 ka buwan.
✅ Pagsipilyo matag buntag ug gabii.
✅ Likayi ang kanunay nga pagkaon ug pag-inom sa mga tam-is nga ilimnon ug pagkaon.
✅ Kanunaya ang pagamit og dental floss.

The Local Government Unit of Balamban, led by the Rural Health Unit, proudly celebrates the 22nd Oral Health Month! This year’s theme, “Tara Na! May Cleaning at Fluoride, San Ka Pa?”, encourages everyone to prioritize oral hygiene and take advantage of available dental services.

Oral health is an essential part of overall well-being, and regular dental check-ups, cleanings, and fluoride treatments help prevent cavities, gum disease, and other oral problems. Through this celebration, we aim to raise awareness, educate the community on proper oral care, and promote healthier lifestyles.

Today’s activity is graced by the presence of Amos Edwin Cabahug, showing his strong support for accessible and quality oral health services for the people of Balamban.

The program is headed by Dr. Napoleon Macapaz, Municipal Health Officer, together with Dr. Jon Patrick Gonzalez, Dr. Grace Arcay, Dr. Rhodora Ilustre, and the dedicated RHU staff.
