"God Is Doing a New Thing"
Isaiah 43:19 – “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Sometimes, life can feel like a dry wasteland—confusing, uncertain, and barren. But this verse reminds us of a powerful truth: God is always at work, even in the most desolate seasons of our lives. He is not a God of repetition, but of renewal.
“See, I am doing a new thing!”—This is an invitation to open our eyes and hearts to what God is doing now. Not what He did before, but something fresh and unexpected. The same God who parted the Red Sea can now create a way through your wilderness. He can bring life to places in your heart or situation that seemed lifeless.
As you face new challenges or uncertain paths, remember: God is not limited by your past or your surroundings. He is making streams in your wasteland—provision, hope, and purpose right where you least expect it.
Reflection:
What “new thing” might God be doing in your life today? Are you open to perceiving it?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to see what You are doing in my life. Open my eyes to Your work and give me faith to follow Your new path. Thank You for making a way, even in the wilderness. Amen. 🙏
