The Tagbilaran City Government, through its Tagbilaran Primary Care Facility Nutrition Office, recently held a successful event to culminate the 51st Nutrition Month last Friday, July 25, 2025 at City Hall Atrium, Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The celebration centered on the theme, "FOOD and NUTRITION SECURITY MAGING PRIORITY; SAPAT NA NUTRITION KARAPATAN NATIN," which highlights the right to adequate nutrition.

Mr. Robin Culpa the β€œmaster of ceremony” gracefully led the culmination program. The event kicked off with a warm welcome from City Mayor Hon. Jane C. Yap, who reaffirmed the local government's commitment to improving health and combating malnutrition. Mrs. Elena Rubillar led a heartfelt Nutrition Prayer, setting a hopeful tone for the day.

Dr. Sheena Mae D. Sevilla from BUCAS (Bagong Urgent Care Ambulatory Services) delivered an informative lecture on Pregnant Women Nutrition. She was joined by fellow BUCAS physician Dr. Nathalie Nicole Makinano, both of whom emphasized the critical role of community-based nutrition efforts.

Participants received milk supplements, RUSF (Mom), fortified rice, and five types of vegetable seedlings. These provisions aim to encourage home gardening and boost food security, supporting both nutritional recovery and sustainable living in the community.

The celebration concluded with City Nutrition Action Officer Dr. Jeia N. Pondoc extended her appreciation to everyone involved for their support. The unwavering support of Mr. Rey Delos Santos RN, RND- CNPC was felt through the plotting of ideas and initiatives of the said event.

This event clearly demonstrates Tagbilaran City's dedication to its β€œSerbisyong Womb to Tomb” principle, ensuring comprehensive health and nutrition services for all its residents, from birth through old age.
