‼️ DOH NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER, ACTIVATED NA ‼️

Activated na ang National Public Health Emergency Operations Center o PHEOC ng Department of Health (DOH) na nakaayon sa Incident Command System at Emergency Operations Center ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Sa ilalim nito, ang DOH Central Office ang magsisilbing pangunahing Emergency Operations Center para tiyaking iisa ang linya ng koordinasyon sa oras ng health-related emergencies alinsunod sa mandato ng NDRRMC.

Sa tulong din ng PHEOC, mas paiigtingin ang mekanismo para sa pagresponde mula national hanggang local government units.

Binubuo ng limang sections ang DOH National PHEOC sa pangunguna ni Secretary Ted Herbosa bilang Responsible Officer at Assistant Secretary Gloria Balboa bilang Incident Manager para sa pangkalahatang operasyon.

Tukoy na rin ang gampanin ng limang section sa ilalim ng National PHEOC gaya ng:
✅ Pagpapalabas ng impormasyong dapat malaman ng publiko
✅ Pagtitiyak ng kapakanan ng mga PHEOC staff
✅ Koordinasyon sa mga national government agencies, rehiyon, ospital, lokal na pamahalaan at international states
✅ Pagsiguro ng sapat na logistics at kinakailangang budget para rito.

Sinisiguro naman ng DOH na mas paiigtingin nito ang response sa mga health-related emergencies tulad ng bagyo, lalo pa ngayong activated na ang National PHEOC.
