Samosa Treat with former KSA-based Kaka Noriejia Uda-Tumindeg before her trip back to Mindanao tomorrow.

Kaka Ija has been a constant Arab cuisine expert in the family and she did not hesitate to create our requested vegetable and chicken version despite the more in-demand beef samosa. She shared her secret spice blends, lemon 🍋 zest, and parsley greens for the balance aside from the other veggie overload 🥕for a healthier version 🌶️

Special Edition with Baker Eduardo “Mr Panada” Peña

We prepared the favorite empanadas of the Manila University Belt in the 1970’s where they used to sell over 150 pcs for 10 school canteens (yup, 1500 pcs!) everyday. He surely missed this recipe and at 73yo, our loving patient inspired us to master his mom and siblings’ home-baked Chicken Empanada from dough to the whole piece. We love you Kuya Eddie!
