𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 👀 | 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 🎞✨️

It’s been a couple of weeks since Project Kalinga implemented their advocacy. Let’s look back on some memories during the Tutorial Session and Turnover of Donation held in Archdiocesan Nourishment Center last February 10 & 28. ⏱️💖

The children were so delighted with the activities and prizes they had during the tutorial session last February 10.👩‍🏫 We were also able to turnover the donations gathered throughout the donation drive to the Center which will greatly help in their daily feeding program and those who were affected by the recent fire in Piapi.✨

Ofcourse, Project Kalinga wouldn’t be possible without the help of our partner, Ateneo Christian Life Community, our major donors Hon. Congressman Nelson Dayanghirang, RDY Marketing, and AJL Water Enterprise, and all the individual donors who helped us reach our goal. With this, we extend our sincerest gratitude to all of you. Your kindness has created smiles and reached a lot of hearts.❣️

We hope that you continue to spread kindness to the world because no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.✨️

Last February 28, we finally turned over the fruits of your donations to Archdiocesan Nourishment Center.

We are happy to share to you that we've raised a total of Php 12,453.00 monetary donations. This was converted to 5 sacks of rice, and grocery items such as food and toiletries that are much needed in the Center and by the fire victims who are also beneficiaries of ANC.

Indeed, your generosity have come a long way. We sincerely thank you all for your kindness and generosity. Project Kalinga wouldn't be possible without your help!💙✨️

Today's visit to ANC has been postponed. The date has yet to be finalized, and we'll update you at least 2 days before the set turn over and visit.

Due to necessary changes made by the proponents, we gladly announce that Kalinga will extend the advocacy before the turn over to cater to more monetary and in-kind donations. We strive to deliver the best we can to ANC and prepare more within the extended time frame. 💙

The group, with project Kalinga: Restoring Hopes and Dreams of Children, conducted a few hours of subject tutorial with the kids, dancing and giving snacks.

The kids will have their semestral break next week and return to their regular whole-day classes afterward. ANC still needs some volunteers to tutor kids from kindergarten to grade 7. Most kids in ANC need assistance with subjects such as Writing, Reading, Math, English, and Arts.

The center aims to provide integral nourishment programs and services such as spiritual formation, medical assistance, especially to the poorest of the poor, and feeding of malnourished children in Davao City.

ANC has over 456 children beneficiaries, providing approximately 10,000 meals each month. Our advocacy hopes to donate sacks of rice for the daily feeding program in the center.

Our Ignatian Advocacy 𝐾𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑎: 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐷𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑛 is a project initiated by 4th year marketing student of Ateneo de Davao University. The project aims to help vulnerable children by providing programs for educational support. The advocacy will also call for volunteers for tutoring sessions for the center's children in preschool and elementary school.
