Is God Really Not Listening… or Did We Just Misunderstand Him?

Minsan ba naisip mo na…

👉 “Lord, bakit ganito?”
👉 “Ba’t parang hindi Mo ako pinapakinggan?”
👉 “Ba’t ang hirap ng buhay ko… samantalang nagdadasal naman ako?”

Let’s be real…

May mga panahon talaga na parang silent si God.

Nagpe-pray ka…
pero walang sagot.

Humihingi ka ng tulong…
pero parang walang nangyayari.

And sometimes…

👉 sinisisi natin si Lord.

⸻

Pero what if…

👉 hindi si God ang may problema…
kundi ang understanding natin?

👉 Isaiah 55:8
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts… neither are your ways My ways.”

Meaning…

Hindi lahat ng gusto mo…
yun ang ibibigay Niya.

Hindi lahat ng hinihingi mo…
yun ang makakabuti sa’yo.

Minsan…

ang sagot ng Diyos ay:

👉 “Wait.”
👉 “Not yet.”
👉 “I have something better.”

Pero dahil hindi yun ang gusto natin…

👉 feeling natin hindi Niya tayo dinidinig.

Sa basketball…

may coach ka.

Hindi lahat ng gusto mong play… sinusunod.

Minsan gusto mong umatake…

👉 pero pinapasa ka muna.
👉 pinapaupo ka muna.
👉 pinaghihintay ka muna.

Hindi dahil ayaw ka ng coach…

👉 kundi dahil may nakikita siyang hindi mo pa nakikita.

Ganun din si God.

Sa business…

may mga plano kang akala mo perfect.

Pero biglang bumagsak.
Biglang hindi nag-work.

At sasabihin mo:

👉 “Lord, ba’t Mo hinayaan ‘to?”

Pero what if…

👉 He protected you from something worse?

👉 He redirected you to something better?

Prayer is not a way to control God.

👉 It’s a way to align yourself with Him.

Hindi ka nagpe-pray para pilitin ang Diyos…

👉 nagpe-pray ka para maintindihan ang plano Niya.

God is not deaf.
God is not blind.
God is not ignoring you.

👉 God is working… kahit hindi mo nakikita.

Minsan tahimik Siya…

👉 pero hindi ibig sabihin absent Siya.

Baka hindi ka Niya hindi pinapakinggan…
baka may tinuturo lang Siya sa’yo. 🙏

🙏MY PRAYER for us TODAY

Lord, patawad kung minsan sinisisi Ka namin
kapag hindi nangyayari ang gusto namin.

Teach us to trust You…
kahit hindi namin naiintindihan.

Give us faith to believe
na You are always working for our good.

“The Missing Piece of Success”

Ano nga ba talaga ang secret sa pag-asenso?

Sa basketball man…
o sa business…

Because if you really look at it…

you train harder than others.
you work smarter.
you sacrifice more.

Pero bakit ganun?

👉 parang may kulang
👉 parang may missing
👉 and worst…

👉 hindi mo pa rin nakukuha yung pangarap mo.

That’s frustrating.

Kasi pakiramdam mo ginawa mo na lahat.

But maybe…

👉 you forgot one thing.

👉 You forgot to put God first.

Minsan kasi…

we start with effort.
we start with strategy.
we start with hustle.

Pero hindi tayo nagsisimula kay God.

👉 Matthew 6:33
“Seek first the kingdom of God… and all these things shall be added to you.”

Hindi sinabi na:

“Seek success first…”
“Seek money first…”
“Seek opportunity first…”

Sabi Niya:

👉 Seek Him first.

Sa basketball…

pwede kang magaling,
pero kung wala kang tamang system—maliligaw ka.

Sa business…

pwede kang masipag,
pero kung mali ang direction—mapapagod ka lang.

⸻

Ganun din sa buhay.

Kapag wala si God sa unahan…

👉 ikaw ang mauubos.

⸻

At kapag nagkamali ka…

don’t just pray na sana walang consequence.

👉 Pray for something deeper.

Pray for strength.
Pray for wisdom.
Pray for endurance.

Hindi para takasan ang consequence…

👉 kundi para malampasan mo ito
👉 at makabangon ka ulit

Because sometimes…

God allows consequences
not to destroy you…
but to build you.

Success is not just about working harder…

👉 it’s about putting God first.

Hindi sapat ang sipag.
Hindi sapat ang diskarte.

👉 Kailangan mo ng Diyos sa unahan ng bawat desisyon.

Baka hindi kulang ang effort mo…
baka kulang lang ang paglalagay mo kay God sa unahan. 🙏

Lord, today we choose to put You first.

Why do people go to church every Sunday?

Is it tradition?
Obligation?
Or something deeper?

Let’s be honest…

Maraming tao nagsisimba
kasi nakasanayan na.

Yung iba…
para makabawi sa buong linggo.

Yung iba…
para ma-feel na okay sila kay God.

---

But here’s the truth…

👉 **God is not after your attendance…
He is after your heart.**

---

Minsan kasi iniisip natin…

“Kailangan ko magsimba para tanggapin ako ni Lord.”

“Kailangan ko ayusin sarili ko para mahalin Niya ako.”

---

But that’s not how God works.

👉 Romans 5:8
“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Meaning…

**Minahal ka na Niya
kahit hindi ka pa ready.
kahit hindi ka pa perfect.**

---

Sa basketball…

Hindi ka nagpa-practice para maging player ka…

👉 **nagpa-practice ka kasi player ka na.**

---

Ganun din sa church.

Hindi ka nagsisimba para mahalin ka ng Diyos…

👉 **nagsisimba ka kasi mahal ka na Niya.**

---

Hindi ka pumupunta para maging enough…

👉 **pumupunta ka kasi enough ka na sa mata Niya.**

---

Church is not a place to perform.

👉 It’s a place to remember.

To remember:

* who God is
* how much He loves you
* and who you are in Him

Sa dami ng pressure sa buhay…
sa dami ng ingay…

minsan kailangan mo lang maalala ulit:

👉 **“Anak ka ng Diyos… at mahal ka Niya.”**

**Hindi ka nagsisimba para hanapin ang pagmamahal ng Diyos…
nagsisimba ka para maalala na hindi ka Niya kailanman tinigilan mahalin. 🙏**

basketball player ka man,
businessman,
or kahit anong ginagawa mo ngayon…

Pare-pareho lang ang gusto natin.

👉 Manalo.
👉 Mag-succeed.
👉 Umangat sa buhay.

Sa basketball…

you train hard.
you practice every day.
you build your skills.

⸻

Sa negosyo…

you plan.
you hustle.
you take risks.

⸻

Pero real talk…

kahit anong galing mo,
may mga bagay na hindi mo kontrolado.

⸻

May games na kahit prepared ka… talo ka pa rin.
May business na kahit effort mo lahat… hindi pa rin gumagana.

⸻

And that’s where most people struggle.

Because we rely too much on our own strength…

and forget the most important weapon.

👉 Prayer.

⸻

Hindi lang siya pang emergency.
Hindi lang siya ginagawa kapag wala ka nang choice.

👉 Prayer is your primary weapon.

Before ka maglaro…
before ka mag-decide…
before ka sumabak sa laban…

👉 lumapit ka muna sa Diyos.

Because success is not just about effort…

👉 it’s about alignment.

Hindi ka magiging successful dahil lang sa sipag mo…
magiging successful ka kapag kasama mo ang Diyos sa laban. 🙏

Minsan… hindi naman talaga problema ang sitwasyon.

Ang mas mabigat…

👉 yung pakiramdam na parang walang nakakaintindi sa’yo.
👉 parang walang nakakarinig sa’yo.
👉 parang invisible ka.

You try to stay strong.

You try to fix things on your own.

You keep showing up…
pero inside…

👉 pagod ka na.
👉 tahimik ka na lang.
👉 at minsan… gusto mo lang may makinig.

Pero ito ang gusto kong ipaalala sa’yo today:

God is never deaf.

He hears you.

Kahit hindi mo sinasabi out loud…
kahit iyak lang…
kahit isip mo lang…

👉 naririnig ka Niya.

God is never blind.

He sees you.

Nakikita Niya yung effort mo.

Yung laban mo na hindi alam ng iba.

Yung pain na hindi mo pinapakita.

And this is the truth…
He never hated you.
Kahit nagkamali ka…
kahit nagkulang ka…
kahit feeling mo hindi ka worthy…

👉 He has always loved you—unconditionally.

Baka hindi ka lang napapansin ng tao…
pero hindi ka kailanman na-miss ng Diyos. 🙏

Napansin mo ba…
Most of the time,
hindi agad tayo nagpe-pray.

We try to fix things first.

We think…
we plan…
we stress…

we do everything in our own strength.

Tapos kapag wala nang gumagana…
👉 doon pa lang tayo lumalapit kay God.

Real talk.

Prayer becomes our last option…
instead of our first response.
Pero hindi ganun ang design ni God.

👉 Philippians 4:6
“Do not be anxious about anything… but in everything, by prayer…”
________

Hindi sinabi na
“kapag wala ka nang choice…”

He said:
👉 in everything

Meaning…

Before ka mag overthink,
before ka ma-stress,
before ka matakot—
👉 lumapit ka muna sa Kanya.

Because prayer is not just a last resort…
👉 it is your access to peace, clarity, and direction.

Baka hindi mo kailangan ng mas maraming plano…
baka kailangan mo lang magsimula sa panalangin.
________

Kailan ka huling nag-pray bago mag-decide? 🙏

Isang click lang… pwedeng mawala ang 7 taon ng buhay ng isang tao.

What do we learn from this?
Na minsan, sa kagustuhan nating maging tama… may nasisira na pala tayong iba.

Be careful with the power you have.

Naranasan ko nang mawalan…
pero naranasan ko rin bumangon,
at gagawin ko ulit. 🔥

There was a time in my life na sobrang hirap talaga namin.

I remember…

when my father got sick—stroke after stroke.

From 1991 to 1995…
apat na beses siyang na-stroke until he passed away.

Before that, somehow…
we were living a decent life.

But when he got sick…

lahat ng napundar niya—naubos.

And that’s when we experienced
real poverty.

⸻

But looking back now…

hindi lang siya pain…
it was preparation.

Doon ko natutunan ang dalawang bagay:

👉 the value of health
👉 and the reality of poverty

And because of that…

I chose to dream.
I chose to fight for a different life.

And by God’s grace…

80% of those dreams—natupad na.

⸻

But today…

we’re facing another crisis again.

Some of it came from
wrong decisions…
and wrong approaches.

Real talk.

⸻

Pero alam mo kung ano ang hindi nagbago?

God is still faithful.

Hindi ibig sabihin bumagsak ka ulit…
tapos na ang story mo.

Hindi ibig sabihin nagkamali ka…
wala ka nang chance bumawi.

👉 Romans 8:28
“All things work together for good…”

Even this moment.
Even this setback.

⸻

Habang may buhay… may pag-asa.

And I believe…

God will help us recover.
God will help us rebuild.
And God will bring us back on track.

This is not the end.

This is just another chapter…
where God will prove again
that He never leaves.

and a lot of people are starting with pressure.

Pressure to perform…
pressure makahabol…
pressure na maayos ang lahat.

We think we need to rush…
para maging okay ang buhay.

Pero the truth is…
kaya ka napapagod,
kasi nagsisimula ka sa sarili mong lakas.

Sabi ni Jesus…

👉 Matthew 11:28
“Come to Me… and I will give you rest.”

Meaning,
hindi ka magsisimula sa trabaho…
you start with Him.

⸻

You don’t have to carry the whole week…
kung alam mong may nagbubuhat sayo.

Hindi ka pumapasok sa Monday para patunayan ang sarili mo…
you show up as a child of God,
with grace that is already enough for today.

⸻

Hindi ka magiging effective dahil masipag ka lang…
you become effective
when you are aligned with the grace of God.

Sa basketball… hindi ka pumapasok sa game nang walang system.
Ganun din sa buhay,
if you’re not aligned with God, mauubos ka lang.

Before you start working today…
pause for a moment.

Huminga ka muna.

Hindi ka hinahabol ng buhay…
you are being guided by God.

Start your week with God…
and you won’t just survive it,
you will dominate it.

My prayer for us:

Lord, today we choose to start with You…
not pressure, not fear, not stress—
but Your grace.

Hindi ka magsisimula sa pagod…
you start from rest,
kasi doon gumagalaw ang tunay na lakas.

It Is Finished… But Your Story Is Not.

You’re no longer fighting to win…
👉 you’re already on the winning side because of Jesus.

Many people think Easter is just about resurrection…
but what they don’t realize is this:
👉 this is the day the battle was finished—for your life.

Hindi ka na lumalaban para mahalin ka ng Diyos…
you are already loved—kaya ka Niya ipinaglaban.

On the cross, Jesus said:
“It is finished.”

He didn’t say:
• “Try harder”
• “Fix yourself first”

👉 He said: Tapos na.

Your sin—fully paid.
Your guilt—completely removed.
Your shame—no longer has power.

📖 Romans 8:1
“There is now no condemnation…”

Jesus didn’t just die…
👉 He rose again.

And that means:
You are not just forgiven.
👉 you are now empowered.

📖 Romans 6:9
“Death no longer has mastery over Him.”

👉 “Yung pumatay sa dati mong buhay… wala nang power sayo ngayon.”

You’re not trying to be accepted…
👉 you are already accepted.

You’re not becoming a child of God…
👉 you already are.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”

You don’t have to perform to be loved by God…
but because you are already loved,
👉 you can’t stay the same.

If we put it in basketball terms:

If you’re already a champion…
👉 you don’t play to prove anything,
👉 you play because that’s who you are.

Are you going through something right now?
A delay?
A struggle?

Hindi ibig sabihin nahihirapan ka… talo ka na.

👉 Sometimes, you’re just in the process of resurrection.

You thought it was over…
but God is saying:
👉 this is just the beginning.

The cross was not the end of your story…
👉 it was the beginning of your new life.

Stop living like you’re still defeated…
👉 when Jesus already won.

Hindi ka na alipin ng nakaraan mo…
👉 you are free now.

👉 The cross = Payment
👉 The resurrection = Power
👉 Your life now = Purpose

You’re no longer chasing life…
👉 life is chasing you—
because Jesus is alive.

“Wag daw natin gamitin si LORD?”

A lot of people say this.

“Wag mong gamitin si LORD.”
“Don’t use God for your advantage.”

Pero mapapansin mo… kapag dumating na yung moments na gipit ka

Yung muntik ka na maaksidente.
Yung bigla mong nalaman na may serious health issue ka.
Yung business mo parang malapit nang mag-collapse.

Suddenly… you remember God.

Bigla kang nagdadasal.
You start asking for help.
You start making requests.

Parang ginagawa natin Siyang genie
“Lord, please fix this… Lord, tulungan mo ako… Lord, iligtas mo ako.”

But when life starts going your way…

May pera ka na.
You have fame.
You have power.

That’s when you say

“Wag mong gamitin si LORD.”

Because you start believing
that you are where you are today
because of your own success.

Because of your skills.
Because of your effort.
Because of your status.

But the truth is…

God never loses control.
We do.

If you really think about it…

Hindi ka makakarating kung nasaan ka ngayon
kung noong bata ka pa, hindi ka Niya pinagaling.

Yung mga times na muntik ka nang mapahamak…
pero you were still okay.

Yung mga pagkakataong dapat sumuko ka na…
but somehow, you survived.

That wasn’t just you.

That was God.

Hindi lang dahil sa kakayahan mo…
but because of His love for you.

This Holy Week, let’s remember Jesus.

Many times, people “used” Him.
Many times, He was denied.
Many times, He was betrayed.

And yet…

He still chose to love.
He still chose to sacrifice.
He still chose to die on the cross…

For us.

For our sins.
So we can have eternal life.

So if you’re reading this right now…

I want you to understand this:

You can never use God.

Because in reality…
He is the one always taking care of you.

When you make bad decisions—
you face the consequences.

But even then, He is still there
to guide you back.

When you make the right decisions—
you receive the rewards.

And still… He is there
to elevate you even more.

Sinasabi ng iba:
“Nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa.”

But for me…

It’s not just mercy.

It’s love.

Hindi ka Niya kinakaawaan…
He genuinely loves you.

And that love never changes—
no matter what you do.

So if right now…
you feel like you’re failing,
struggling, or losing in life—

Believe this:

You will rise again.

Not because you are strong.
Not because you are capable.

But because…

He is.

⸻

God gave us Jesus
so we can have eternal life.

We have a Savior.

And more importantly…

We have a God
who never stopped loving us. 🙏
