Thieves 🤎

Thieves has a lot of history in the essential oil world and has many uses and benefits.

According to Young Living’s website:
“Young Living’s proprietary Thieves® essential oil blend was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated and wore a special aromatic combination of clove, rosemary, vinegar, and other botanicals that they believed provided protection while they were stealing.”

Thieves essential oil blend is a combination of clove (has respiratory and cleaning benefits), cinnamon bark (anti-inflammatory), lemon (anti microbial), eucalyptus radiata (resembles a cough drop) and rosemary (supports the body’s natural response to inflammation) These ingredients synergistically combine to offer one of the key benefits of Thieves: overall wellness and support of immune system.

The versatility of use of Thieves is endless -you’ll find the oil in all Young Living’s cleaning products, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, mouthwash and so much more. Day 9 of

Peace and Calming 💚

We all need something to wind ourselves after a long and hectic day. Peace and Calming helps promote relaxation and calmness, hence the name.

Peace and Calming is a blend of orange, tangerine ( uplifting scent), ylang-ylang, patchouli (relaxing oil) and Blue Tansy (sweet floral aroma). A combination blend perfect for -you guessed it- peace and calm!

I diffuse P&C at night, pairing it with Lavender or Stress Away, for a knock down sleep. Tried putting it on my hot bath for a very relaxing spa experience 🛀 I also made a roller blend that I labeled “All is Calm”, applying it on the back of my neck and under my nose for stressful situations.

Panaway 💙

You know how once you become a mom, suddenly every muscle you have hurts? Well, Panaway is my Pain-away essential oil! I ditch my salonpas and switch to Panaway, a more natural option. The oil always helped to recover my muscles after a long day

Panaway is a combination of Wintergreen (aspirin-like properties), helichrysum (also known as “liquid stitches), clove (analgesic) and peppermint (muscle relief) Panaway essential blend provides cooling sensation to the skin as well as relaxes tired muscles. In fact, Young Living Cool Azul pain relief cream contains some of the same oils as Panaway. A great wellness support for growing pains.

I apply Panaway neat to any localized soreness of muscle for a quicker recovery. I also make 10ml roller blend of Panaway+Copaiba with carrier oil and take it anywhere with me for a quick ease to any “aches” and discomfort.

Stress Away 💚

Stress Away essential oil is the only Young Living product to use the combination of Lime and Vanilla. This exclusive blend was named by Young Living distributors and it is one of the most popular essential oil of Young Living which is included in the PSK.

Stress Away oil contains copaiba (lots of beneficail properties), cedarwood (powerful plant constituent Cedrol), ocotea (support blood pressure), lavender (calming effect) and of course the power duo lime and vanilla extract.

I diffuse Stress Away after a tough day at work for relaxation before bed. The scent is so great on its own but I love to pair it with Peace and Calming or Lavender. I also love to wear it on my diffuser necklace during the day to get myself out of negative mindset. My vacation in a bottle, a uniquely relaxing oasis in a stressful world. 📷

Copaiba 🧡

Copaiba is an incredible anti-inflammatory oil that is distilled from gum resin that is wild harvested from Brazillian copaiba. This oil has hardly any smell or taste and contains the highest amount of beta caryophyllene (55%) of any known essential oil!

Caryophyllene is a terpene and very common cannabinoid (CBD). Some of its benefits include brain protectant, regulates immune responses, balances flora in the mouth, relieves chronic pain and has antimicrobial properties. It has greater anti-inflammatory action than ibuprofen, so it provides natural and safe pain reliever option.

But the highlight of Copaiba oil is that it is a magnifier oil where when combined with other essential oils it magnifies and enhance their benefits I usually pair it with more expensive oils (like PANAWAY) which enables me to use less oil but get larger benefits.

Copaiba is my WHY, why I purchased my PSK kit, to help me (naturally) with my steroid withdrawal journey. I take 1 drop of Copaiba oil under my tongue everyday to help regulate my immune response. I also love making my anti-inflammatory tea, a combo of Copaiba and Ginger oil with honey. You can also rub this oil on your baby’s gums when they are teething for support. Teething sucks for the little ones and having a toxin free option is amazing. It is also great for toothache or mouth sore 🦷

Day 6 Citrus Fresh 💛

Citrus is one of the most popular and used ingredients in the world. Citrus Fresh essential oil blend brings most of the citrus oils from Young Living together like orange, tangerine, mandarine (uplifting aroma), lemon (anti-bacterial), grapefruit (suppress appetite) and spearmint (stomach comfort). It has a sweet, citrusy aroma with a nice background of spearmint.

I use this oil for everything! I add few drops to my bath for a relaxing feeling. I love pairing this oil with sparkling water for a refreshing and healthy flavored drink. I love diffusing citrus fresh in the kitchen and bathroom for that clean and fresh aroma. I even wear this oil as a pure-fume because the smell is to die for. Literally my “happy oil”

Raven ❤️

Raven oil is a combination blend of Ravintsara, Eucalyptus Radiata (resemble as cough drops), Wintergreen, Peppermint (natural menthol) and Lemon (anti-bacterial). A chilly, minty blend with sweet undertone, Raven creates a cooling sensation and provides a comfort during cold months 🥶

I use Raven to help open up my sinuses. I also make some diy chest rub with VCO for comfort or I simply diffuse Raven for respiratory support when sick 😷

DiGize ❤️

One of the first essential oils I used when I started Young Living was DiGize. I fell in love with this oil because it promoted healthy digestion.

DiGize Vitality is one of the twelve essential oils that comes in the Young Living Premium Starter Kit. This blend is made with essential oils from plants long associated with digestive-aiding properties like fennel seeds and juniper (great for promoting good gut health), tarragon and patchouli (support healthy digestion), peppermint and ginger (soothe digestive discomfort), lemongrass and anise (promote digestive comfort)

I make tummy support roller blend of DiGize + Peppermint in a 10 ml roller bottle with carrier oil and take it everywhere with me. When traveling, I add few drops of DiGize vitality in my water for digestive support. I also take a spoonful of pure honey and a drop of DiGize at night for gut health.

Peppermint 💚

Peppermint essential oil provides a familiar recognizable scent (Ahh candy canes!) but did you know that peppermint has more uses than just making candy canes taste good?

Peppermint is a key ingredient to a lot of Young Living’s products and blends such as Cool Azul Pain Cream, Deep Relief, PanAway, Breathe Again, Thieves Hand Purifier, and many more. It takes over a pound of peppermint leaves and flowering tops to create 15 ml bottle of peppermint. The leaves and flowering tops are steam distilled to create the purest and powerful oil.

I love adding a drop of pepp vitality to my morning cocoa for energy boost or to my water for a refreshing way to cool off. I apply it topically with carrier oil to relieve sinus pressure and headache or simply smelling it directly from the bottle for increased alertness. I like to diffuse it also during playtime to shoo away mosquitoes. I loved it so much that it’s the first oil from my PSK that got all used up 😅
