Be a Blessing Project V. The family tradition continues amidst of the restrictions and limitations. The annual simple visit and provisions of heavy snacks for the patients, staff, and volunteers of Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital, Behavioral Care Center (Formerly Talay Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center) last January 8, 2022.

We are grateful of the Castro Family and some staff of the Chin Surveying and Real Estate Services.

We missed Ptr Toto Cayubin of Don Toto Ice Cream who was always with us when this project started, may his soul rest in peace.

Be a Blessing IV, Talay Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, Dgte City (01-11-20).

The annual blessing event has become a family yearly tradition. Special thanks to the delicious APAD's Pastries & Pizza which also offers yummy siopao; Don Toto's Ice Cream; Budbud (Suman) from Tanjay and Wef Mineral Water.

Its all worth the travel and effort. :)

Be A Blessing Project III. Talay Rehabilitation and Psychiatric Center, Dumaguete City.

Some worthy notes on this place include not just friendly staff but also huge improvements compared to our first visits in the past. The place is now clean and its isolation rooms are no longer smelly unlike before. There is a TV set for the guardians, volleyball net for the sporting event of the patients, and several gardening areas.

My favorite story was when a previous patients (male and female) who used to live in the center for a long time are no longer there to welcome us. Its because some good- hearted fellow offered them a job. They now live normally outside the rehab center. Grace is possible. 🥰
