A friendly reminder.
If nag advise po ang OB / Midwife / medical provider na high risk kayo and sa hospital manganak, please follow. We advise this not because gusto namin kayo mapagastos, but we know that you will be better taken care of. 9 months po ang pregnancy which means you have 9 months of preparation, emotionally, physically and yes, that includes financially.
Every pregnancy is different. Pwedeng ma CS if previously normal delivery (if there is an indication), pwede din ma normal delivery if previous CS (will be screen first if pwede).
For high blood / diabetic patient, there are many complications now (stillbirth if sugar is not controlled, pwedeng sobrang laki or liit ni baby, seizure or bleeding). For placenta previa, high risk for bleeding.
For breech / transverse lie, pwede ma trap ang head ni baby. All this will be carefully explained to you by your provider.
If high risk, usually mas frequent po and monitoring. Every 2 weeks, minsan weekly, minsan every 3 days pa nga eh lalo na if bumababa na amniotic fluid ni baby. 😅
We only live once, please don’t risk it to be short lived, or regret in the end. Our goal always is to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. Please trust what we advise, because we know the complications and risks involved.
I am praying always for my patients. For their safety in their delivery and recovery. Because I know that there are things out of our control. Not everything will end okay, but there is a reason for everything. We also grieve with you in silence. Praying and hoping that it will not happen again to other patients.
Amping pirme.
