In the realm of substance abuse recovery, aftercare and reintegration programs play a crucial role in supporting individuals on their journey to sobriety. Among the key components that significantly impact the success of these programs is the active involvement of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADACs). BADACs serve as essential pillars in providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals reintegrating into society post-rehabilitation.
also, the speaker introduced the Special Drug Education Center (SDEC) to its participants. Orientation are essential for the success of the SDEC in barangays. By raising awareness, building trust, explaining services, empowering youth, engaging families, and facilitating collaboration, orientation programs create a foundation for effective drug prevention and rehabilitation efforts. The SDEC, in collaboration with BADAC, BPOC, BCPC and SK, plays a crucial role in addressing the complex issue of drug abuse in the General Santos City. Continued investment in orientation programs and community-based initiatives is vital to achieving a drug-free society.
