GENTRIMED proudly took part in the 2025 Inter-Hospital Friendship Games, alongside Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital, and St. Dominic Medical Center.

Our players delivered outstanding performances, earning 1st Runner-Up in multiple sports events, including volleyball and basketball.

Congratulations to all GENTRIMED participants for their exemplary teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Last August 19, 2025, the Cavite Medical Society (CMS) conducted the seminar “Waste Not Harm: Safe Hospital Waste Practices” at the GENTRIMED Teatro. The event was led by CMS President Anna Maureen Reyes-Villamar, MD and focused on promoting safe and sustainable healthcare practices through effective hospital hazardous waste management and solid waste management.

The discussion was spearheaded by Engr. Marrisa Malabanan (Engineer IV/OIC, Chemical and Hazardous Waste Monitoring) and Engr. Zarah Mae A. Lascano (Environmental Management Specialist II, WSWM Section).

The event was also graced by Dr. Jerrimo Genuino, President & CEO of GENTRIMED, who warmly welcomed the attendees. Representatives from various hospitals across the area participated in the seminar, making it a collaborative effort toward fostering a safer and more sustainable healthcare environment.

Gastroenterology: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (1 doctor only)
Ophthalmology: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (1 doctor only)
Surgery: No clinic

On August 9, 2025, GENTRIMED officially sealed its venture to establish a state-of-the-art Catheterization Laboratory (CathLab) through a formal signing ceremony held at Crimson Hotel, Alabang. The event was attended by esteemed medical professionals, particularly leading cardio-interventionalists from various areas across Cavite and Metro Manila.

Program highlights included an in-depth CathLab walkthrough and the presentation of Philips, the advanced technology brand to be used for this facility, marking the first of its kind in Cavite.

Also in attendance were notable individuals and partners, including Department of Health Assistant Secretary Ariel Valencia, the Cavite Medical Society, Royal Arc, and Fujifilm.

This milestone reflects GENTRIMED’s dedication to bringing advanced healthcare facilities closer to the community.

Last August 8, 2025 (Friday) at 2:00 PM, the OPD Pediatric Department of GENTRIMED hosted a meaningful celebration at the OPD Pedia Waiting Area (3rd Floor) in observance of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month.

With the theme “Gatas ng Ina, Lakas ng Anak: Para sa Mas Matibay na Kinabukasan”, the program highlighted the strength, love, and commitment of breastfeeding mothers in nurturing healthier and stronger children.

On July 29, 2025, Gentri Medical Center & Hospital welcomed Korean nursing students from Konyang University, South Korea, for an educational hospital tour organized by Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite. Guided by our Nursing Director, Nurse Ren Isip, the group visited key departments and explored our advanced medical facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, and specialized centers dedicated to quality patient care. It was an inspiring day of learning and cultural exchange.
