"𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲; 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵".

The Iligan Medical Society, through the generous donors across the country made big strides in the relief operations at Abuno, Iligan City yesterday - February 27, 2026. The said baranggay is one of the worst hit areas brought by the deluge of Storm Basyang last February 5, 2026. This event would not have come into fruition without the gracious contributions of the following stakeholders:

1. The Iligan Specialty societies - SSI, DOKI, ISOG, ISI, PAFP/Ancillary in the procurement of items.
- 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐬, 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐣𝐮𝐠𝐬, 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬/𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬.

2. Soda Enterprises though Dr. Salie Barnuevo for lending us their truck, essential in the transportation of items to the target area at Abuno Gym.

3. Volunteer doctors and medical secretaries in sparing several hours in packing the items per family.

4. PNP personnel through PCol Aaron Mandia for the security es**rt.

5. The baranggay officials under Brgy. Captain Eduard Laranio for the needed local coordination.

6. Pharmaceutical partners in the logistics assistance.

7. The IMS doctors who lent their personal time to help in any way possible.

8. The Mercy Community Hospital Inc for allowing us a needed space for the packing and extending extra mile in the procurement of more items for distribution

Above all, Our God almighty for his endless provisions.

That's a wrap! Thank you to the IMS doctors who volunteered during the 3-day Medical Mission hosted by the Iligan LGU and the No One in Need Foundation. Over 4800 patients were seen by the IMS, CHO teams and the entire medical and paramedical personnel catering to Surgical, Pediatric, Dental, OB-Gyne, Nutritional, Ophthalmologic, Optometric and Adult Health Services. Thank you for the invitation from our hosts who flew in from different parts of the country and abroad. Indeed, together we can make a difference.

Thank you to our volunteer doctors, nurses, BHWs, midwives, pharmacists and other allied health services from the combined groups from Iligan City Health Office, Department of Health Region X, IPHO and Iligan Medical Society for extending medical services to flood victims of Storm Basyang. We also extend our gratitude for the assistance of our kind donors for their extended help. As we move forward with rehabilitation, the medical teams are one with all in praying for God's grace, provision and mercy as we all tread this difficult path.

Leptospirosis prophylaxis og surgical wound care ipahigayon sab. Adto Lang didto sugod 10 AM hangtod 3 PM.
