In celebration of the World AIDS Day 2025, the 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼 is thrilled to invite you to a special day dedicated to community well-being on November 27, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at Mayor Rodrigo P. Miranda Hall. Brought to you by the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 headed by 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗘. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮.

Come learn, engage, and empower yourselves with the activities, competitions, and a symposium in colaboration with 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 duly represented by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗲-𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘇 which focuses on:
🌬️Smoking Cessation
🧠Mental Health Awareness
👫Adolescent Health
🛑HIV/AIDS Awareness

✅There will be an inter-school talent showdown/dance contest to be participated in by the different secondary schools of the municipality. There will be cash prizes for this competition.

Champion- Php 10,000 cash💸
2nd Placer- Php 7,000 cash💸
3rd Placer- Php 5,000 cash💸
4th Placer- Php 2,500 cash💸
5th Placer-Php 2,500 cash💸

✅There will also be a Poster Making Contest to be participated in by the different secondary schools of the municipality. There will be cash prizes for this competition as well.

Sa pagpapatuloy nang ating layunin namailapit sa komunidad ang mga pangunahing serbisyong pagkalusugan, matagumpay natin itong naihatid sa Barangay Bul-Bulala ngayong araw sa ginanap na PuroKalusugan.

Ang PuroKalusugan program ay bahagi ng Eight-Point Action Agenda ng DOH na naglalayong tugunan ang mga pangunahing isyu sa kalusugan at mailapit ang mga pangunahing serbisyong medikal sa mga komunidad, lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar.

Ilan sa mga serbisyong inihatid natin sa mga residente ay:
✅ Libreng Medical Consultation
✅ Libreng Gamot
✅ Laboratory Test
✅ Dental Services
✅ Philhealth Konsulta Registration

Ang programang ito ay naisakatuparan sa pakikipagtulugan ng Santiago RHU staff sa pangunguna ni Dr. Vida Doria Berto, DOH-HRH sa patnubay ni Ms. May Bernardine Belardo, Provincial Health Office, Lokal na pamahalaan ng Santiago sa pamumuno ni Mayor Josefino Miranda, at Barangay Bul-Bulala sa pamumuno ni Punong Barangay Elvera Ellorin.

Patuloy tayong maghahatid ng ligtas, dekalidad at mapagkalingang mga serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa bawat komunidad.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our heroes and life savers for giving blood and for continuing to work with us on this program. We are grateful for your kindness and commitment to share your blood to save a life.

This voluntary blood donation activity is initiated by the Local Government Unit of Santiago headed by Mayor Josefino E. Miranda through the Municipal Health Office in partnership with Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital - Gabriela Silang.

86 Santiagenians we're given free skin consultation & medicines during the Kilatis Kutis Campaign happened earlier today!

The Local Government Unit of Santiago headed by Mayor Josefino E. Miranda partnered with the Philippine Dermatologic Society-Northern Luzon Chapter represented by Dr. Liza Marie Paz-Tan,FPDS- PDS Vice President from Laoag, Ilocos NORTE, Dr. Geraldine Ruth D. Cadacio, FPDS- Past President PDS from Candon, Ilocos Sur, Dr. Eugenio Pipo III, FPDS -Secretary from Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Dr. Carmella Jane Luis, FPDS from Laoag, Ilocos Norte and Dr. Jerraine Pangilinan-Verzosa, DPDS from Tagudin, Ilocos Sur to serve our constituents with their skin problems.

Dr. Jerraine also shared an informative presentation to the patients regarding proper skin care.

SBM Lawrence Miranda we're also present and affirms the commitment of the LGU to give the best and complete heathcare for the people.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our good doctors for sparing their quality time and invaluable efforts to meet our patients who need their expertise most.

The first ever One-Day-League Volleyball tournament organized by the Rural Health Unit of Santiago is happening on November 25, 2025, brought to you by the LGU-Santiago headed by Mayor Josefino E. Miranda as part of the celebration of World AIDS Day 2025.

The tournament is open to all Santiagenians male and members of the LGBTQI community, no age requirement.
Registration is now open until November 23, 2025. To register kindly contact Mr. Jun Arreola or you can comment on this post or send us a message! There is no registration fee.

This will be an exciting day of showcasing of talents, skills, sportsmanship & friendship among Santiagenians!

A productive 3-day BHW and BNS Training focused on DOH programs, health promotion activities, and accomplishment reporting held last November 12-14, 2025. This training has successfully equipped our Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholars with the knowledge and skills they need to continue serving our communities with excellence.

Our sincerest appreciation goes to our incredible resource speakers from ISPSC – Main Campus—Sheryl S. Morata, PhD; Mandy Roie Atendido, PhD; Modesto Noble, MAN; Jeneli Wong, MAN; Ana Blesilda Atendido, PhD; Cecilia Vergara, PhD; Amelia Antonio, MAN; and Magnolia Biete, EDAM—for their time, insights, and commitment to strengthening community health. Your expertise made this activity truly meaningful.

And kudos to our dedicated participants for their commitment to learning and service!

The success of the training program is an initiative of the Local Government Unit of Santiago headed by our active and supportive Mayor, Hon. Josefino E. Miranda, through the RHU staff headed by Dr. Vida Galang and DOH-HRH supervised by Ma’am May Bernardine Belardo.
