MAY 20, 2026 "OPERATION TULI" with the theme: "Tuli ka na, Pogi ka pa"

Earlier today, the Ilocos Sur District Hospital Tagudin successfully conducted Operation Tuli 2026 as part of our Hospital Week Celebration! A total of 154 children were catered during the activity, bringing smiles and quality healthcare service to our young beneficiaries. ๐Ÿ’™

To make the day more enjoyable and refreshing, FREE ice cream was given not only to the children but also enjoyed by parents, hospital employees, and students together with cold juice sponsored by our very supportive Chief of Hospital, Doc Jules Bona ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿงƒ

This meaningful activity reflects our commitment to the Hospital Week theme:

With this year's theme: "Serving with Compassion, Healing with Excellence,โ€ Ilocos Sur District Hospital Tagudin officially commenced the celebration of Hospital Week 2026 after the Flag Raising Ceremony today (May 18, 2026).

Ilocos Sur District Hospital Tagudin Public Health Unit joins in the celebration of Safe Motherhood Week (2nd Week of May) with the theme: "Safe Motherhood, Healthy Childhood"

Last May 14, 2026, an OPD Lecture was conducted in celebration of Safe Motherhood Week with the theme: โ€œSafe Motherhood, Healthy Childhood.โ€

The activity aimed to raise awareness on the importance of maternal health, proper prenatal care, safe pregnancy, and healthy practices that ensure the well-being of both mothers and their babies. Through health education and information dissemination, we continue to empower women and families toward safer pregnancies and healthier communities.

Special thanks to Dr. Jay Ann Gamilde, our resident OB-Gynecologist for sharing valuable knowledge and guidance during the lecture.
We would also like to inform everyone that the OB and Gynecological OPD Schedule is every Wednesday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM for consultation, prenatal check-ups, and other womenโ€™s health concerns.

Ilocos Sur District Hospital Tagudin Public Health Unit joins in the celebration of World Immunization Week with the theme: "For every Generation, Vaccines Work." with the sub-theme: " Bakuna at Proteksyon ni Baby, My Responsibility"

As part of the celebration, an OPD film viewing was conducted to educate and raise awareness among patients, watchers, and employees about the importance of immunization in protecting individuals, families, and communities from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Vaccination remains one of the safest and most effective ways to protect every child and every generation toward a healthier future. Through continuous health education and advocacy, we strengthen our commitment to promoting public health and disease prevention.
