The Public Health Unit of Ilocos Sur Medical Center conducted the Thyroid and Cervical Awareness campaign at Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur empowering the community through promoting their healthy behaviors in partnership with Nagbukel RHU. It was participated also by women who underwent Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid or VIA procedure by Obstetricians and Gynecologists from ISMC.

The Public Health Unit of Ilocos Sur Medical Center attended as facilitators for the Launching of Consultative Major Health Event: Road Safety Month 2025 at Banna, Ilocos Norte.

May is Road Safety Month!
S-Secure driver’s license
A-Avoid distraction such as texting and listening to loud music
F-Fear the consequences of unsafe behavior such as death and injury
E-Emergency hotlines such as 911
R-Report unsafe road conditions sa kinauukulan
O-Observe speed limit of 30kph for shared roads
A-Always use helmet and seatbelt even during short distance trips
D-Do not drink alcohol and drive
S-Shared responsibility natin ang ligtas na kalsada
