To deliver basic services for every constituents through implementation of sensible policies and programs specially on health, education, employment and to enable each individual participation to attain progress, peace, environment friendly, God loving and to transform this Barangay into a World Class Community. As we conducted the orientation and issuance of the Unified Enhanced Community Quarantine Pass in Nabitasan, it was clear that leadership is not just about giving instructions, but about being on the frontlines, guiding and serving side by side with the community.

It was a challenging time, but it also became a moment of transformation where trust, discipline, and cooperation were strengthened among our people. When leaders show up, communities respond with unity and resilience.

Four years ago, these moments captured the strength, energy, and unity of our GUGMA Youth across different barangays. Wherever we went, the same passion and commitment were present, young people coming together with one goal: to serve, uplift, and spread and in every community.

Aga pa kita nag libot-libot sa Barangay halin sa pag paninda sa La Paz Public Market, kag isa gid ka nami nga butang ang aton nakita β€” ang aton mga Youth volunteers, kaupod si Kgwd. Jomar Alolod kag SK Chairman Alfred Marcelo, nga may inisyatibo nga magpaninlo sa aton Barangay (Zone 1).

These young individuals prove that change doesn’t wait, it starts with initiative. Bisan kabataan pa sila, makita mo gid ang disiplina, responsibilidad, kag pagpalangga sa komunidad.

Good job, Kgwd. Jomar and SK Chairman Alfred Marcelo, for taking the lead and involving the youth. This is the kind of leadership that creates real impact, leading by example and empowering others to act.

Aton gid ini gina suportaran bangud diri naton makita ang future sang aton barangay, youth who don’t just speak, but take action. Indi lang sila examples sa ila kapareho nga kabataan, kundi inspirasyon man sa aton tanan.

πŒπ„πŒπŽπ‘π˜ πŒπŽππƒπ€π˜ || Six years ago, during one of the most challenging times of the pandemic, this moment showed the true spirit of volunteerism in our community. Our Zone 3 volunteers stepped up in action disinfecting main roads, alleys, footbridges, and β€œTambak” to help protect every household in Nabitasan. It was a time when fear was present, but courage and unity were stronger.

This memory reminds us that real service is shown in times of crisis, when people choose to act for the safety and well-being of others. Proud of our volunteers who proved that even in uncertainty, we can come together and make a difference. Seven years ago, I stood on that stage not as the β€œsakto lang” student I once believed I was, but as one of the Outstanding Alumni of Nabitasan Elementary School in the fields of Culture, Arts & Media and Public Service.✨

I came from a place of doubt, thinking I was never β€œenough” back then. I wasn’t part of the academic awardees, and for the longest time, I carried that with me. But that moment reminded me that growth does not always happen where we expect it, it happens through experiences, failures, and the courage to keep going despite them.

Seeing my teachers applaud, hearing words of pride, and standing alongside fellow awardees was something I once thought I would never experience. It was more than recognition, it was redemption, a full-circle moment that only God could have written.

Leading its organization alongside our dedicated teaching staff was both an honor and a responsibility that strengthened my commitment to bring people together. From that beginning, the journey continued as I was entrusted to serve as Alumni Association President until today. What started as a vision became a tradition of unity, pride, and shared memories.

And this year… we are preparing something even more meaningful. ✨

It was a powerful reminder that true leadership is rooted in humility, service, and love for others just as Christ has shown us.
