In pursuit of strengthening the Universityโs commitment to good governance and ethical public service, the Suppliersโ Forum 2025 serves as a vital platform for enhancing integrity, transparency, and accountability among suppliers and stakeholders.
At a time when fraud, substandard deliveries, and overpricing continue to undermine public trust, WVSU stands firm in promoting transparent, efficient, and climate-conscious procurement practices in accordance with the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) or Republic Act No. 12009.
Key Emphasis for the Forum:
1. ๐จ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐ก๐ผ. ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ต โ Knowing your rights and responsibilities as
suppliers and partners in government procurement.
2. ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฑ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ & ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ด๐ โ Gaining practical insights from real cases to identify and prevent fraudulent acts.
3. ๐๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐ & ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ โ Reinforcing integrity by avoiding dishonesty, theft, cash juggling, moonlighting, bad-mouthing, laziness, and insubordination.
4. ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ & ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป โ Ensuring bids, deliveries, and payments are correct, transparent, and traceable.
5. ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ & ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ โ Building trust and open communication between WVSU and its suppliers.
Through this initiative, the University seeks to avert fraud, ensure value for money, and promote sustainable and climate-resilient procurement paving the way for a more accountable and responsive supply management system.
