Last July 27-August 1, 2025, The Department of Health - Centre for Health Development-Northern Mindanao, Conducted a 5 days Training on Risk Communication & Community Engagement - Infodemic Management ( RCCE-IM) Hotel Valencia, Valencia City Bukidnon.

RCCE-IM is an essential public health intervention that is key to successful emergency response throughout the prevention, preparedness, response and recovery phase. It enables tailored, targeted and more efficient emergency interventions that build trust between people and health authorities, address rumors and misinformation, lead to the acceptance and uptake of protective measures, and ultimately save lives.

RHU Impasugong recently conducted our PuroKalusugan (PK) profiling at Barangays Dumalaguing and Sayawan, two of our three pilot areas. The challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions didnโ€™t stop the team from pushing through with this important activity. This is part of our goal to make health services more accessible.

Even with limited resources, the activity was a success because of everyoneโ€™s support. Weโ€™re truly grateful to LGU Impasugong, the Barangay Councils of Dumalaguing and Sayawan, and all our hardworking health staff and volunteers. Your efforts and dedication made this possible.

Weโ€™ll be seeing you again soon for the next PK profiling. Stay tuned!
