Screens themselves aren’t the enemy.
The real question is: what are kids *not* doing because of them?
Not playing outside.
Not talking at the dinner table.
Not learning to sit with their thoughts.
Not building real world confidence.
So it’s not about removing screens completely but about protecting the things that matter more. And making sure that they're focusing on the other things first.
Because once those habits are gone, they’re harder to rebuild.
So instead of asking “how much screen time is too much?”
Maybe we should ask…
“What is screen time replacing in our kids’ lives?”
