Ang Department of Speech - Language Pathology ng College of Rehabilitation Sciences ng DLSMHSI ay naghahanap ng mga pasyente na gustong makatanggap ng LIBRENG speech and language evalutation o therapy. Ang sessions ay gagawin ng mga student clinician sa ilalim ng pagtuturo ng mga lisensyadong Speech - Language Pathologists na g**o ng departamento.

Ang serbisyo na pwedeng makuha ay pwedeng face to face o online/teletherapy. Ito po ay pwede para sa mga pasyente na bata o matanda na nakitang nangangailangan ng paraan para matulungan sa pagsasalita, pag-intindi o paglunok.

RSLP, sino tayo? Saan tayo patungo?
Apparently… to Alabang for four days of learning, reconnecting, and remembering why we do what we do. 🗣️✨

Attended the PASP Convention last July 11–14, 2025 and came home with more than just notes. I brought back clarity, connection, and core memories with fellow Filipino Speechies who are just as eager to grow, serve, and make a difference.

It’s hard to put everything into words (even the hallway conversations were packed with insights!), but one thing’s clear: there’s so much power in showing up—not just for ourselves, but for the communities we serve.

Forever grateful for the people and spaces that continue to shape me. Padayon, mga Therapist ng Bayan. 🌻🇵🇭

Magandang balita para sa mga taga-Sultan Kudarat at karatig-lugar! Magsasagawa po tayo ng LIBRENG OPERASYON para sa mga may bingot at ngongo (cleft lip at cleft palate) ngayong July 16–18, 2025 sa Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital.

📌 Para sa mga interesadong magpa-opera:
✅ Libre po ito – walang bayad!
✅ Pwede kahit hindi taga Sultan Kudarat basta willing bumyahe
✅ Pag bungi- dapat 6 months old pataas at may timbang na 8 kilos ang pasyente
✅ Pag ngongo- dapat 1 year old pataas at may timbang na 10 kilos pataas

Operation Smile’s Speech Camp in the Crown City of the South! 👑🗣️

Last May 22, 2025, we welcomed children who had undergone cleft lip and/or palate surgery—not for another operation, but this time for speech assessment, therapy, and parent education. I got to wear two hats: as a volunteer speech-language pathologist and the host of the event (napuslan gid ang pagka-Ilongga nga gwapa HAHA)

In cleft care, surgery is just the beginning. Speech therapy gives these kids the tools to use their voices fully—like getting the manual for a new device. Grateful to Operation Smile for bringing much-needed services beyond the metro and into communities like ours. Here’s to more initiatives reaching this side of the country. ✨

Allow me to celebrate this milestone 💛

I recently had the honor of giving a talk entitled “Understanding and Supporting Learners with Communication Disorders” as part of DepEd SOCCSKSARGEN Region’s Seminar on Classroom Management.

Speaking in front of nearly 550 dedicated public school teachers from all over Region 12 was nerve-wracking—but also incredibly fulfilling. Having this opportunity in the very community that raised me feels like coming home in the most meaningful way.

We talked about recognizing behavior as a form of communication, and how supporting a child’s development takes a team effort. This event is just the beginning of the collaboration our learners truly deserve 🫶

Thank you, DepEd Region 12, for trusting me with this space. And to my family and alma mater—thank you for teaching me the value of service. Lagi’t lagi, para sa bayan 🌻
