Last July 11–14, Speechie Via attended the 2025 Convention of the Philippine Association of Speech-Language Pathologists with the theme “RSLP, Sino Tayo? Saan Tayo Patungo? Towards Contextualized and Transformative Practices.”

This national gathering brought together Filipino Speech-Language Pathologists across various settings (i.e., private clinics, hospitals, academe, etc.) to engage in evidence-based discussions, explore emerging practices, and reflect on the evolving role of SLPs in the Philippine context.

At , we are committed to continuous learning and professional development so we can provide responsive, research-informed care to the community we serve.

We look forward to applying these learnings as we continue to support our clients, one session at a time. 🗣️💛

Our very own Speechie Via served as a volunteer at Operation Smile’s Speech Camp last May 22!

Held here in Koronadal, the camp provided speech assessments, therapy, and parent education for children who had undergone cleft lip and/or palate surgery.

At , we offer speech therapy for both children and adults with cleft lip and/or palate—because surgery is just the beginning, and therapy helps build clearer speech and more confidence 💛

🌍💙 World Autism Awareness Day 2025 💙🌍

Today, we go beyond awareness—we advocate for acceptance, inclusion, and support for all individuals with autism. Autism is NOT a disease to be cured but a unique way of experiencing the world.

As speech-language pathologists, we recognize that communication is diverse—it can be spoken words, gestures, sign language, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), or any way a person expresses themselves. Every voice matters, and every mode of communication is valid.

💡 Here’s how we can create an inclusive world for individuals with autism:
✅ Respect different ways of communicating—not everyone speaks with words, and that’s okay!
✅ Presume competence—believe in an individual’s ability to understand and express themselves.
✅ Support their needs—provide communication tools, sensory-friendly spaces, and patience.
✅ Celebrate neurodiversity—autism is a natural variation of human diversity, not something to “fix.”

Let’s work together to ensure that every individual with autism has the right to be heard, understood, and included. 💙

"Speech Therapist ka... ti gatudlo ka paano mag hambal?" 🤔

Kung hindi "Ano na siya?" kay kadalasan amo gid ni ang una gina pamangkot sang mga bago lang kabati sang "Speech-Language Pathology" 😅

Short answer, yes! Isa ni sa mga gina himo namon mga Speechie pero hindi lang limitado diri ang amon pwede ibulig. Pwede kamo mag chat sa amon page kung may pamangkot pa kamo parte sini 😊
