We sincerely express our heartfelt appreciation to the Supportive Local Chief Executives of Lambayong, led by our Municipal Mayor Francis Eric E. Recinto for his support of all RHU health programs.

We also extend our gratitude to our dedicated DMO, Ma'am Nedz Niñal; Municipal Health Officer Rex Selvido; MBFHFI Coordinator Jhon Nhard; DOH-deployed Nutritionist Jovy Paculio Ebon; and all LBH midwives. Their invaluable guidance, dedication, and unwavering support have been instrumental in the successful accreditation of our facility as a Mother-Baby Friendly Facility.

Your leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to promoting optimal maternal, infant, and young child nutrition have significantly contributed to this achievement. This milestone reflects our shared vision of ensuring quality, compassionate, and mother- and baby-centered health services in our community.

What a happy and productive day! Today, the PhilHealth Region XII conducted evaluation in our Rural Health Unit of the municipality of Lambayong in our application for the accreditation for the Severely Acute Malnutrition Outpatient Benefit Package. This is a PhilHealth program that provides assistance to all qualified beneficiaries under the SAM Outpatient Benefit Package.

We are fortunate to have passed the evaluation conducted by PhilHealth, and we are now ready to seize another opportunity to enhance services and treatment not only for those suffering from severe acute malnutrition but for all types of malnutrition in our municipality of Lambayong.

Thank you, Mayor Eric Recinto, for your unwavering support of the nutrition program and for always guiding us towards a better nutrition initiative in our municipality.

I would also like to express out gratitude to our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Irxy Vincent Jann Ma. P. Selvido, for the support and assistance in implementing nutritional activities.

Special thanks to Ma'am Nedz Niñal, RN, MPH, the DOH Development Manager Officer for Lambayong, for the continuous guidance and assistance in implementing health programs.

To the very dedicated Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, Mr. Jonard A. Tauro, RN, thank you for your support in improving our nutrition program and providing better services to all target beneficiaries.

To Ma'am Jovy Ebon, RND, the nutritionist dietitian deployed in our municipality, thank you for delivering high-quality services in our nutrition program and for always assisting our Barangay Nutrition Scholars in the various barangays of Lambayong.

Lastly, to all Rural Health Midwives (RHM), Health Resource Human (HRH), and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Maam Jean Alonzo, RMT and team, and all health work force for creating a healing and supportive environment nutrition program for all children aged 0-59 months, pregnant mothers in our community and all our target beneficiaries.

Together, we can achieve everything as we work towards one goal, one direction, and one heart. ♥️

The Municipal Health Office(MHO)-Nutrition Program, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Eric Recinto, for his unwavering support of our nutrition program.

We are grateful for the dedicated supervision of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Iryx Vincent Jann Ma. P. Selvido, MD, to Jonard A. Tauro, RN, our Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, and Ma'am Jovy Ebon, RND, who consistently supports the hardworking Barangay Nutrition Scholars and BHW”s from the various barangays of Lambayong.

A special thank goes and to all our rural health midwives and human resources for health. Your time and commitment to the nutrition program have been invaluable.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Ma'am Nedaisa Niñal, RN, MPH, for her guidance and assistance, which have helped us become effective implementers in nutrition program.

This initiative aimed to provide essential prenatal education, promote maternal health, and foster a supportive environment for soon-to-be mothers.

Through interactive sessions, the participants gained valuable insights into proper nutrition, oral health, prenatal care, and the importance of regular medical and laboratory check-ups. The collaborative effort ensured that each mother received personalized attention and guidance tailored to her needs.

This community-driven approach not only equips mothers with the knowledge to ensure healthy pregnancies but also strengthens the overall well-being of Barangay Lilit. By investing in maternal health, we pave the way for a healthier, more resilient community.
