Unsa man ang AIDS?

Ang AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) mao ang mas advanced sa HIV infection. Sa kini nga yugto, hinay na ang immune system mao nga dali ra matakdan ug lain-laing klase sa impeksyon.

Pinaagi sa sakto nga tambal ug pag-atiman (Anti-Retroviral Treatment), posible nga malikayan ang pagkatakod sa mga opportunistic infections aron dili na kini moabot sa AIDS.

Unsa ang HIV?

Ang HIV usa ka virus nga hinay-hinay nga nagapaluya sa resistensya sa tawo. Kung hinay ang resistensya, mas sayon nga matakdan og lain-laing klase sa sakit.

Pinaagi sa husto nga pagtambal, mas mapalig-on ang resistensya ug mas mapanalipdan ang kahimsog sa lawas.
