Did you know that a Lipid Profile is a blood test that measures the levels of fats in your blood and helps assess your risk for heart disease and stroke?

It checks the following:
✔ Total Cholesterol
✔ LDL (Bad Cholesterol)
✔ HDL (Good Cholesterol)
✔ Triglycerides

📊 Normal Reference Values:
• Total Cholesterol: 50 - 200 mg/dL
• LDL (Bad Cholesterol): 60 - 130 mg/dL
• HDL (Good Cholesterol): 35 - 65 mg/dL
• Triglycerides: 40 - 150 mg/dL

💡 Reminder:
• 9–12 hours fasting is usually required before the test.
• Adults 20 years old and above are encouraged to check their lipid profile every 4–6 years.
