Ang atong sentro sa Merida (RHU Merida) gibalhin na ug lahi nga lugar toa na sa Upper Highway Poblacion Merida Leyte ang building sa Merida Infirmary.

Clinic hours:
Monday to Friday except holidays, doctors officially on travel and attend important activities or meetings.
8:00am- 12:00 nn
1:00pm-5:00pm- emergency cases

Kung masamad or napaakan sa ero o ering unsa ang angay buhaton?

1. Hugasan ang samad ug sabunan, wlay bisan unsa ibutang

2. Magpacheck up sa atong sentro sa Merida

3. Magresita ang doctor ug tambal , muduol sa atong pharmacy ipakita ang resita, kung wla ang tambal inyung paliton.

4. Itupok ang available kuntra tetanus- kini kinahanglan naay order sa doctor (Tetanus Diphtheria- naa ni sa sentro) ug kinahanglan tagaan ug Anti Tetanus Serum-kini ang paliton ky dle ni available sa sentro.

Irefer nato sa ODH ky walay available antirabies vaccine ang RHU.

🩸 BLOOD DONATION DRIVE SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED!

The Local Government Unit of Merida proudly shares the successful conduct of today’s Blood Donation Drive at the Merida Recreation Center, with a total of 37 voluntary blood donors who generously offered the gift of life. ❤️

This meaningful activity was led by Engr. Rolando M. Villasencio, Municipal Mayor, with the strong support of the Sangguniang Bayan.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our SB Members:

for their active participation and for personally donating blood—truly exemplifying leadership and service to the community.

March is Drowning Prevention Month –paalala na responsibilidad ng lahat ang kaligtasan mula sa pagkalunod.

Masayang mag-bonding sa dagat o swimming pool kasama ang pamilya, ngunit dapat laging unahin ang kaligtasan. Gawin ang 5 B’s upang makaiwas sa pagkalunod:

🟠 Bantay – Bantayan palagi ang mga batang lumalangoy.
🟠 Bida Salbabida – Gumamit ng life vest o tamang flotation device.
🟠 Bawal ang Alak – Huwag uminom ng alak kapag lalangoy.
🟠 Barrier – Takpan ang mga drum at balon. Maglagay ng harang kung malapit sa anumang anyong tubig ang inyong tahanan.
🟠 Bystander Intervention – Unahin ang sariling kaligtasan. Huwag basta tumalon sa tubig—mag-abot ng salbabida o anumang maaaring pangligtas at humingi ng tulong.

March 24 is World TB Day -isang paalala na ang tuberculosis ay naiiwasan, nagagamot, at nalulunasan.

Magpa-X-ray at magpa-test upang masigurado ang kalusugan. Ang maagang pagsusuri ay nakapagliligtas ng buhay!

May libreng gamot para sa TB sa mga pasilidad pangkalusugan. Tapusin ang gamutan upang tuluyang gumaling at maging !

The Local Government Unit of Merida, Leyte, under the leadership of the Municipal Mayor Engr. Rolando M. Villasencio, successfully conducted a Free Pap Smear Screening in celebration of the National Women’s Month.

This activity was facilitated through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by Ma’am Charis Mae R. Cagalawan, in partnership with RHU Merida headed by Dr. Jose Bernabe M. Figueroa.

The LGU likewise extends its sincere appreciation to Shining 1 Family Planning Clinic for their valuable support.

A total of 50 pre-identified barangay volunteers (BHWs, BSPOs, BNS, and Day Care Workers) were served, promoting early detection and prevention of cervical cancer.
