It has a 70-bed capacity and is accredited by both the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth as a Level 1 healthcare facility.

In connection with the celebration of 90th Founding Anniversary of Armed Forces of the Philippines, Fernando Air Base Hospital joins the AFP Simultaneous Hospital Visit and Gift Giving of the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines, General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. PA via Videoteleconference (VTC) held at the FABH Lobby on 28 November 2025.

The event was also graced by the Chief of Command Staff for Operations, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Colonel Marlon S. Hardillo PAF (MNSA) and the Deputy Group Commander of 550th Air Base Group, Lieutenant Colonel Melben N. Sioco PAF who spearheaded the gift-giving to five Candidate Soldiers (CS) patients.

FABH, thru the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Precious R. Relles Medical Corps, extends its congratulations to our outstanding FABH military personnel, Major Gilberto Luccio V. Mendoza Medical Corps and Airwoman Second Class Rachel V Cruzada PAF and civilian awardee, Dra. Marie Antonette A. Castaños, who received the Chief of Staff Commendation Medal and Ribbon during the ceremony.

Their unwavering commitment, professionalism, and exemplary performance continue to inspire the entire Fernando Air Base community.
