📢 JUST IN: Archbishop Gilbert Garcera of Lipa has been elected as the next president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). 🙏🇵🇭

The election was held during the 130th CBCP Plenary Assembly in Anda, Bohol. Garcera will succeed Cardinal Pablo Virgilio David and begin his two-year term on December 1, 2025.

Archbishop Julius Tonel of Zamboanga was also elected as CBCP vice president.

In partnership with the Philippine Mental Health Association Batangas Chapter, Johnson and Johnson Foundation and the Ministry for the Youth and Commission on Health Care-Archdiocese of Lipa a Training- Workshop was conducted on June 27-28, 2025 at Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer, Banay-banay, Lipa City with the theme Building a "Stronger Me: Foundations of Mental Health." It was attended by 58 Youth Leaders from the different parishes of the Archdiocese of Lipa.
