The CEFI Psychological Society proudly congratulates our Program Head, Dr. Imerald Michelle Esmeralda-Amandy, RPSy, on the acceptance of her research paper entitled “Lived Experience of Caregivers of Patients Diagnosed with Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorder: Basis for a Family-Focused Psychoeducational Program.”

This outstanding scholarly work has been officially accepted for oral presentation at the 31st International Congress of Applied Psychology, to be held in Florence, Italy, on July 21–25, 2026. Her participation in this prestigious international congress marks a significant contribution to the global discourse on mental health, caregiver well-being, and family-focused interventions in schizophrenia care.

Dr. Esmeralda-Amandy’s achievement not only reflects academic excellence but also advances the representation of Filipino mental health professionals on the international research stage.
