March is Women’s Month!
Let us take this opportunity to raise awareness about Gynecologic concerns and learn how to protect ourselves.
Gynecologic cancers, such as cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancers can affect any woman. Early detection and preventive care can save lives!
1. Go to your gynecologist to have HPV testing or Pap smear. No HPV vaccine yet? It’s time.
2. Do you remember your last me**es? Record and track your cycles. Doing this will alert you to changes in pattern and occurrence of abnormal bleeding.
3. Do you feel bloated, feel pain or pressure in the pelvis, have urinary or bowel changes, have an enlarging abdomen or have a palpable mass? Consult your gynecologist!
Early consultation leads to early detection ! Together we can save lives.
