Intellicare Supports DOLE Cagayan de Oro's 31st Family Welfare Committee General Assembly.

We are honored to have been part of DOLE Cagayan de Oro City Field Office's 31st Family Welfare Committee (FWC) General Assembly 2025 held on May 15, 2025, at the Mallberry Suites Business Hotel.

Our Regional Head for CDO, Theo Galang, served as a resource speaker for this year's theme: "The Future of Employee Health: AI, Telemedicine, and Digital Wellness Trends." His presentation on "HMO Decoded: Maximizing Healthcare Benefits" provided valuable insights to attendees.

During the session, Theo shared a snapshot of the Philippines' current healthcare landscape, highlighting the concerning rise in lifestyle and chronic diseases and the factors contributing to these health challenges. He addressed the difficulties many Filipinos face in accessing quality healthcare and demonstrated how HMOs like Intellicare play a crucial role in:

✅Creating awareness about preventive healthcare
✅Encouraging proactive health management
✅Providing assistance for quality healthcare access
✅Supporting organizations in managing effective healthcare programs for their workforce

Theo also emphasized an important message for all HMO members: the need to use healthcare benefits wisely and responsibly. This responsible utilization ensures sustainability of healthcare programs and better service for everyone.

Celebrated on April 7, this year’s theme—Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures—focuses on maternal and newborn health, calling for collective support and action to end preventable deaths and prioritize women’s well-being.

Intellicare has been heeding this call since 2015 through our CSR H.E.A.L.S. Safe Motherhood Program, in partnership with PBSP.

Over the years, we have empowered 35,000+ women and trained more than 700 barangay health workers. Our program provides vital education on prenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding, nutrition, and family planning for high-risk communities.

By staying true to this mission, we continue to build a healthier future for mothers, babies, and families—one barangay at a time.
