There is no single way your s*xual self “should” look.

The way we understand our s*xuality is shaped by everything we live through: from our culture and upbringing to our physical bodies and relationships with the world.

As much as our identities shape our s*xuality, the way we understand our s*xuality can guide the person we are becoming.

Our s*xual selves are layered, contextual, and constantly evolving as we grow. Understanding it asks us to care and stay curious.

If you’re ready for what it takes to explore this part of yourself, book a session with one of our Associate S*xologists or explore it in community through our Foundations of S*xual Self course—next run starts this June.

Don’t let a viral infographic define you. Pop psychology labels can offer clarity, a language to what we feel. But when we hold onto them too tightly, they can start to box us in.

Labels are best used as entry points into understanding ourselves, not endpoints.
Because at the end of the day, you get to shape how you understand yourself—and how you show up in your relationships and in the world.

Take a step toward a deeper, more grounded understanding of your s*xual self with us. Book a session with one of our Associate S*xologists, or explore it in community through our Foundations of S*xual Self course—next run starts this June.

When we work on our s*xual selves, it ripples out in our relationships.

For this member of our Foundations of S*xual Self Cohort, it became a space not only to rediscover their own s*xual narrative, but to deepen intimacy with their partner, too.

With better understanding comes clearer communication. And from that, a more connected and fulfilling s*x life.

Our next cohort begins this June. Dive deeper with us.

When it comes to your s*xual self, there is always more to learn.

For one member of our latest Foundations of S*xual Self cohort, what felt like a solid foundation became an invitation to go deeper—expanding their understanding of s*xology in a way that was both transformative and grounded in their lived experience.

And in that process, overall wellbeing begins to open up in new ways.

Our next run of Foundations of S*xual Self begins this June. Learn with us.

Where do we draw the line between s*x education and s*xual content online?

In a digital space where anything can go viral and everyone is invited in, that line can easily blur. But the consequences of getting it wrong can last a lifetime—especially for young people still forming their understanding of bodies, consent, and relationships.

In this feature with POP! Inquirer, our founder Rica Cruz walks us through how to tell the difference—what signs to look out for, and why intention, context, and care matter in the way we talk about s*x online.

Because s*x education will never s*xualize. It’s always been about equipping people with the knowledge and awareness to make informed choices about their s*xual selves.

Thank you to POP! Inquirer for creating space for more critical, thoughtful dialogue on this. Read the full article on pop.inquirer.net🧡

From personal insight to community action—this is what the work can grow into.

For a student of our latest Foundations of S*xual Self cohort, they were able to build the awareness and the courage to face the difficult conversations about s*x within their own community.

This is how change begins: choosing to show up anyway, staying present in the discomfort, and slowly creating space where new conversations can take root.

Our next run of Foundations of S*xual Self begins this June. Show up with us.

“How does shame impact the right to pleasure of Filipinos?”

According to Barcita, we start figuring this out by looking back and reflecting on why things are the way we are. “Being able to practice our right to pleasure will also help us connect with our humanity and also be more authentic to ourselves.” Because when we understand where shame comes from, we begin reclaiming our right to pleasure and an authentic life. Ready to take the first step? What stories have we been taught to believe about women’s desire—and how many of them were rooted in shame rather than truth?

In her latest feature with Tatler, our founder unpacks the discomfort that so often surrounds women’s s*xual desire, the myths we inherit, and the many ways shame keeps us disconnected from our right to pleasure and bodily autonomy.

These are the conversations Unprude exists to make possible: honest, informed, and grounded in the belief that understanding your body should never be shrouded in secrecy

Thank you to for helping bring this conversation into the open, and for creating space where women’s pleasure can be discussed with the nuance, dignity, and care it deserves.

“What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned in the S*xology program?”

Dr. Ria Lim, it starts with learning about yourself first. “Learning about yourself, to learn about other people.” Because healing, confidence, intimacy, and pleasure begin with self-awareness.
