I'm already preparing for my next pregnancy. It has not been easy to live with a reproductive immune disorder (categories 1, 2, and 5). However, it has shaped my journey and outlook in many ways.

As an immunologist, I understand the reasons for it. As a woman, I also feel the heartache that comes with the difficulty to conceive and the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages. I find myself connected to other women on this difficult journey on a deeper level because of my experience.

I want to let you know that you are not alone on this journey and there is always hope. Trust your doctors and always have the faith.

As Padre Pio frequently reminds us: “Pray, hope and don’t worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.”
