PPCAI ELECTS NEW LEADERSHIP FOR 2026-2028 TERM
Quezon City, Philippines — March 27, 2026 — The Philippine Paint and Coatings Association, Inc. successfully conducted its elections for the new set of officers and Board of Directors at Alex III Restaurant in Banawe, Quezon City.
The elections were administered by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) composed of Chairman Charles Kwa (Mayon Industrial), Diosdado Cheng (DKSH), and Dianne Ruth Mendoza (Pacific Resins). The COMELEC formally announced the election of 15 nominated candidates to fill the 15 available seats in the Board of Directors.
From among the newly elected Board, the following officers were chosen to serve in the Executive Committee:
President – Reginald Yu (Times Paint)
Vice-President – Ely Kenneth Ong Sue (Century Chemical)
Secretary-General – Rechelda Hirang (Chemical Providers)
Treasurer – Timothy Uyecio (Pacific Paint [Boysen] Philippines)
Auditor – Antonio Floro (Chemwealth)
Completing the 15-member Board of Directors are:
Ralph Villamangco (Global Bosny)
Hanson So (FH Colors)
Cristina Pedrasa (Nippon Paint)
Angelito Suralbo Jr. (March Resources)
Jonathan Bangayan (H-Chem)
Marvin Gutierrez (BASF)
Vincent Bien Ng (Redachem)
Patrick Golangco (Tradeton)
John Victor Balane (J-Van)
Celso Tan Jr. (Altek Chem)
The newly elected Board of Directors will serve a term of two (2) years, steering the association’s initiatives and advancing the interests of the Philippine paint and coatings industry.
Preparations are currently underway for the Induction Ceremonies of the new set of officers and directors, tentatively scheduled for the last week of May 2026.
