The 14th Sangguniang Barangay invites everyone to take part in our Blood Letting Activity on December 16, 2025, 8:00 AM at Malandag People’s Gym.

Your single donation can help save lives! ❤️

✔️ DONOR QUALIFICATIONS:
• 18–60 years old (17 with parental consent)
• At least 50kg in weight
• With normal blood pressure
• Had enough sleep (6–8 hours)
• No alcohol intake within 24 hours
• Not pregnant or breastfeeding
• No recent surgery, tattoo, or piercing (within 12 months)
• In good health and feeling well on the day of donation

✔️ REMINDERS:
• Bring a valid ID
• Eat a light meal before donating
• Drink plenty of water

The BLGU Malandag headed by Hon. Helen A. Aradanas successfully conducted a meeting facilitated by the Committee Chairman on Health and Sanitation Hon. Roy Reiner Octavio with all meat vendors today, December 2, 2025, at the Barangay Session Hall.

This meeting, in coordination with the Sanitary and Veterinary Section of the Office of the Municipal Agricultural Government (OMAG), focused on meat inspection, sanitary compliance, proper handling, and other important regulations to ensure the safety and quality of meat products being sold to the public.

We extend our gratitude to all meat vendors for their active participation and cooperation. Your commitment plays a vital role in safeguarding the health and welfare of our community.

The BLGU Malandag, under the leadership of Hon. Helen A. Aradanas, joined the Pantawid Year-End Party with the theme “Pamilyang nagsusumikap at nagtutulungan patungo sa tagumpay.” The event was held on December 3, 2025 at Malandag Gymnasium.

In her message, Hon. Aradanas stressed the importance of unity, collaboration, and mutual support in strengthening families and uplifting the community. She also emphasized that parents must take proper care of their children, guiding them with love, responsibility, and discipline to ensure a better future for their families.

The BLGU Malandag, represented by Hon. Roy Reiner Santos-Octavio - Author of the Ordinance and Hon. Jessica B. Ciano - Co-Author, attended the SB Committee Meeting on Health, Nutrition and Sanitation regarding the Newly passed Barangay Ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING THE BARANGAY MALANDAG PUROKALUSUGAN PROGRAM, DEFINING ITS STRUCTURE, FUNCTIONS, AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATE FUND THEREOF" held at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall, Municipal Compound, this November 13, 2025.

The meeting was presided over by the Committee Chairman Hon. Erwin Asgapo together with Committee Members Hon. Jan Ken Escalada and Hon. Mark Henson Villareal

The Committee commended the Barangay Malandag Council specially sa Committee on Health, Sanitation, Environment and Public Services for passing this Ordinance, assuring full support for the success of this Ordinance.

“OSAEC-CSAEM WAKASAN: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban.”
Held at the Malandag People’s Gym on November 10, 2025.

The kick-off ceremony began with the recitation of the Panatang Makabata (Hiligaynon XII version), participated in by BCPC members, ECCD teachers, pupils, Barangay Council, and Barangay workers.
